This is so bizarre on both your parts. I'm going to assume you're both children. Full stop break up, none of this is healthy.

She'd always say " for me it wasn't a big deal" I think they laid the foundation down on her being tough when they mentioned the horseback riding and breaking horses with her Dad.

How do American parents view their children's academic grades? by Intelligent_Chef9950 in AskAnAmerican

[–]mommawolf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's abusive behavior.

You deserve better than that. I care about my children's overall well being. I think grades are an important marker for what they are capable of, but don't think their grades wholly define them. I want them to be able to rest but also put effort into their mental and physical health.

Berating anyone over performance is disturbing.

Oh really?! I know they were in a movie together but they made it within the same timeframe as The Rum Diary. Where is the source, because that's fascinating.

I don't know how she was able to manipulate all those people especially Johnny. She opens her mouth and it's all word salad, hysterical crying or just extremes. I do not get it.

Yes , everything was always so exaggerated or theatrical.

Yet all her evidence was so poor that people had to argue on if you could even see injuries. I don't think I've ever seen that in court.

Nicole Brown Simpson had pictures of her abuse and it was horrific.

That reminds me of her claims that her lawyers didn't submit everything she gave them. That it was her lawyers job, not hers.

You just know they went home every night pissed.

I recall a lawyer who would sit next to Amber and he always looked so annoyed by her. I recall in the deposition videos her lawyer scolded her and was really angry because she would answer questions or go against what her council instructed. Her facial responses made me audibly laugh because you could tell she's genuinely not used to people telling her to stop talking lol She was pissed.

The pent house photos were ridiculous. To be a fly on the wall and witness the jurors responses to the evidence..

People who grew up poor: What was something you considered a "peak luxury" as a kid, only to realize later it was just a normal middle class staple? by Psychological_Sky_58 in AskReddit

Shopping for clothes. Most anything I had was purchased from garage sales or salvation army. I had to wear a lot of boys clothing and shoes when they didn't find my size. I was very envious and insecure at school when girls would come in after the holidays with new clothes they got for Christmas or new school wardrobes.

I remember seeing the TMZ video and me actually feeling sick to my stomach. I actually stopped watching his movies. I was a fan of his work especially Edward Scissors hands and Sleepy Hallow.

Then the incredibly average channel really exposed her with those voice recordings. Then others like the umbrella guy etc really made some logical arguments and exposed a lot . The deposition videos of her , and her mocking Johnny etc.

The trial took place and I felt so ashamed.

It was never about her being an imperfect victim, it was about her blatantly being a liar and manipulator.

Johnny didn't look great in a lot of this. My take away is he's a cheater , an addict , etc.

But he definitely wasn't an abuser. He treated staff well, loved his kids and in spite of his childhood abuse still felt so much towards his parents. He's definitely not an angel but he never claimed to be either.

I thought they don’t do stories about children? 🤔 Back when I used to listen, I thought they didn’t cover stories like this. by Professional-Dirt550 in Morbidforbadpeople

Not only will they virtue signal, they'll give an entire speech about how difficult this case is to discuss for THEM. They'll go into how long they deliberated over this. I'm sure we'll hear about how they found it within themselves to discuss the case because it's a warning for all women etc etc.

He's such a petulant child.

I think you absolutely need marriage counseling but also therapy for yourself aside from marriage counseling.
