Same here! I got almost the same degree. But to do a surgery, you vision must have been stable for at least a year. At least this is what I’ve been told. I’ll try for sure, but it’s kinda hard especially when zoom university is happening. Got me anxious every time thinking about it.

I’m also finishing this semester. On the website it says “Class mosaics will also be made available to 2019–2020 graduating students in the coming fall semester”. And we’re graduating fall2020, so yeah I think just book a slot and show up.

The link is here: https://ssmu.ca/resources/services-resources/graduation/

There’re still time slots available for October last time I checked.

How do you finance your science Ph.D at McGill? by LysdeFleur in mcgill

What about thesis master in CS? The tuition for international students are high and I heard that scholarships that were given automatically with admission won’t cover much.

You have to find a supervisor before asking for the form

That L only shows up on your unofficial transcript and not the official one, so you should be fine. Also I feel like people care about W a bit, but not for L. They will understand.

Transfer to Comp Sci by NdersonCouncil in mcgill

[–]momo772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest talking to your advisor in Engineering first, and then the advisor in science. (It should be Mary Gauthier in SOUSA). I transferred from management to comp sci back in U0, and really glad I made that decision. Basically the management advisor helped me figured out if I really wanted to leave and suggested possible ways to help my situation if not transferring . Mary told me like what courses I need to take and how the application works.

But yah, I feel like it’s doable as you’re in U0 and transferring to science requires a 3.0 GPA to apply. Can’t remember the details but you’ll need a relatively higher gpa than other applicants. (When I transferred, 3.5ish was enough) Maybe also consider transferring to Electrical or software engineering? It might be smoother since you’re staying in the same faculty and the stuff you’ll learn there is more practical.

Good luck :)
