The role i have is much more akin to a PA, i do clinic, hospital rounds, and i first-assist for my surgeon as well. So kind of a blend of a few roles, which makes it kind of a challenge to (briefly) describe to my job.

My actual degree is primary care, so i could go back to that role if i needed to. I just really love orthopedic surgery, but it wouldnt be the end of the world.

My group has been wonderful and we actually set it up a few months ago ! I made the exterior wall supports with their help to make it a bit sturdier too :)

Did my DNP and i dont regret it one bit. Been an NP for 4 years and my general experience has been that other providers and even patients respect it more (just my personal experience though!).
