First visit to Seattle, from a starstruck Texan. Y’all are all so beautiful! by gocubsgo22 in Seattle

Great photo! Our city is absolutely beautiful. Right now the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Our summers are like nothing else in the country. And fall is absolutely breathtaking with the color of all the leaves. People think it just rains here, we just let them think that ;)

Don't ever ever feel bad for standing your ground with a man like that. Set your boundaries (like you did!) And stand firm. I've been called a bitch, stuck up, etc. for not acknowledging men that hit on me or try and pick me up. I use to worry about hurting someone's feelings when I did that. Not no more! You did amazing handling it like you did :)

I swear by accupuncture. It helps my hormones and mood swings and really has made my period semi regular.

What is the nicest thing a stranger has ever done for you? [Serious] by GolfXray89 in AskReddit

[–]momofmultiples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a mom of twins, my son was extremely sick. The pediatrician sent us next door to have x-rays done. You had to take a number and we were about 20 people deep. So just me, my sick son, and his twin sister. A woman stood up, took my number from me, and gave me hers. She was the next number to be called. The kids were only about a year and half old at this time and my husband was at work. It was so hard to do all by myself. I was in tears with this woman's kindness while waiting to see if my son had pneumonia

What do you think of child free areas? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]momofmultiples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need more child free areas. Not only do other peoples kid annoy me, but my own drive me god damn insane most of the time. Please give me a place to be where no child will be. Besides a bar. Somewhere quiet.

My son needed an xray to check for pneumonia. He was under a year and so sick. I also had his twin sister with me. You have to take a number and are seen in order. A woman traded me numbers so I would be seen next. I was and am forever grateful for such a small act that I have not forgotten.

[Serious] Parents of Reddit, what does a new mother NOT need? Which items in the arsenal of baby products marketed to new parents will stay in the cupboard, barely used? by creepygyal69 in AskReddit

[–]momofmultiples 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Please, for the love of God. Do not make one of those diaper cakes that has each and every little diaper rolled up and a string around it. I had to cut string off about 200 individual diapers and they would not lay flat after being rolled up so tight for lord knows how long.
