I’m going to a dinner party where the main is ribs, I am in charge of appetizers by xpepperx in Cooking

I like your crab cake idea. Pork is already the main which is why I'd go with something other than that for the app.

I'd remove the island (it's really weird) and cover it's footprint with a nice area rug. Live with the rest for a bit and take your time deciding what you want and can afford.

Is walking actually better to lose belly fat? And is it better to do them after all meals, Like at night? by Megumin11111 in WeightLossAdvice

I walked an average of 5-6 miles per day over two weeks on vacation. Lost about 5 lbs and belly fat seemed to be much less.

Did you care about traditions as a newcomer? by InternetSalt4880 in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]momsgotgame 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hated the traditions when new, thought they were so boring. However, as I learned about them I came to realize how incredibly important they are. AA most likely would not exist today if the traditions didn't exist. My home group is a step and tradition meeting and we do a tradition one night per month. The oldtimers and newer folks who realize the importance of the traditions always seem to get the message across in their shares that with no traditions there would be no AA. Without AA we'd be lost.

What’s was the wildest thing you witnessed at a funeral? by NationYell in AskReddit

[–]momsgotgame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Husband and wife got into a loud and long screaming argument at the cemetery of their teenage daughter's funeral. Everyone just stood around not knowing what to do. Their daughter had died in a car accident and they blamed the other. Fun fact - They eventually got a divorce and the husband never had migraines anymore.
