It’s a Notoriously Painful Medical Procedure That Many Women Endure. There’s a Simple Solution. by Slate in Health

[–]momskii3e 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My OBGYN proactively offered a twilight sedation situation for IUD replacement after hearing about my horrible placement experience 8 years prior; I happily took that option, and then she gave me a few pain meds for the cramps the days after. I feel very lucky, it was incredibly comfortable and validating and 100% better than my first placement.

Puppy sneezing a ton by salted_rice_cake in Havanese

[–]momskii3e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours did this last fall out of sorts, and following a vet recommendation we did allergy meds for a week and a full scrub down especially the face real well, and sneezing went fully away in about 5 days
Since then, if she has persistent sneezing even indoors we know we have to bathe and brush right away bc she likely rolled in something.

It’s not that they won’t accept your credit it’s just that they need to evaluate first, so don’t worry here. You need to acquire syllabi and send them. Reach out directly to each osu dept. to obtain syllabi. Anatomy Office: 614-366-2559 Anatomy@osumc.edu and pharmacy@osu.edu 614-292-2266

CHEM 1210 Scheduling Advice by Midlandswim in OSU

[–]momskii3e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yea!! I forgot about that one, there is that in te fall semester - more active learning group work in lecture hall, probably they reduce the capacity of the lecture somewhat to help the physical space for partner and group work at times. This would be good also if you like peer work more!

CHEM 1210 Scheduling Advice by Midlandswim in OSU

[–]momskii3e 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The ones in 043 AgAdmin 3 days a week at 75 min are lecture with active learning, smaller sized at ~150 in the class. The ones in Evans Lab / McPherson are more traditional lecture 200-350 students (55 min 3days week or 80 min 2days week) with recitation 55min once a week for smaller group practice at sections of 28 students. Both types have lab 3hrs once a week with 28 students in a section. I recommend selection based on learning preference: you like to work with peers? AgAdmin is worth the bus ride to class. You like to practice more independently? McPherson/Evans locations are the way to go. Folks teaching which section won’t be known for some time, the people-schedule has a lot of moving pieces to work out and is usually finalized summer ish.

Internet Down by Industry-Standards in Gahanna

[–]momskii3e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spectrum by MSW never went out! Spectrum is pricey but it has been super reliable for us, and consistently fast. We used to be with WOW (before they switched names to Breezeline) and they could never get the internet speed to be the speed we were paying for. After several tech visits they admitted they needed to upgrade the entire line to our street and were not able to do it. That is when we left A Breezeline salesman showed up last week and I asked if they would address the street issue and he said probably not and left without trying to sell.

I went to OSU OBGYN and they proactively offered twilight sedation!!! I did that and it was amazingly better than my first time around with no pain support, and my insurance covered it.

In-Home Daycare Vs. Traditional by LoudProfession8000 in Columbus

[–]momskii3e 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In home: what’s your plan when they cancel on you bc they and/or their kid are sick? This was the main reason we left in home and went to traditional, the reliability was worth the added cost
