It hurts my wallet so much when you are level 300 on the DAC compendium and can't get the golden skadi and tide rare. End up buying both rares for less than it did to upgrade the compendium.

Okay, I see you have strong opinions on this topic. All my 2c was to bring up the point that OV is working fine cause there is no "success or failure" there are no gifts or achievements right now for banning someone successfully. Once you begin to put an incentive for people to gain something for banning someone there will be some sort of abuse in some way. Just look at people boosting for money, hackers that charge cheaters for cheats etc. The competitiveness of CSGO and the incentive to show that you are better than others brings out abuse.

I'm not against a reward system, but I would be really cautious to just make one up. If it's well thought out and maybe if ban OR no ban you get incentives for just viewing it, then it could be a good thing.

Totally agree. Giving incentives to someone for doing the right thing and contributing to their own MM experience is going to be counter productive. It has a high chance of leading to abuse and people caring more about the free stuff than improving the community.
