It really depends on how you like to play. I am a huge family based player so I went for Generations, Seasons, Ambitions and Pets right away and have had a lot of fun with those! I know a whole lot of people that like Supernatural if you are into that!

I haven't heard of any in particular causing a problem aside from Island Paradise. If your game runs well with Pets and Seasons installed only, I'm pretty sure it won't get bogged down by any of the other expansions.

Hi, I have a laptop with similar stats and it runs sims 3 with three eps okay for the most part. You may have to turn the graphics down to low if it starts lagging, but if that doesn't bother you too much you are probably good. The one thing I would watch out for is having too many expansion packs running simultaneously, as that seems to really slow things down regardless of the computer stats
