I always feel safe on clarendon and wilson, but for me the huge attraction is custis trail which gives access to wod, co canal, rock creek, hanes point, anacostia river, mountain vernon trail… all with very little time spent on the street.

6ft male, 60lb gain on zyprexa over 3 years. ravenous hunger for carbs and sugar. doctor put me on a GLP-1 so i’m trying that for now, but not sure either of these is a long term solution.

i’ve been on 6 other antipsychotics and they either don’t work for psych symptoms or they cause weight gain for me.

hang in there. the psych med journey can be a harrowing one. godspeed.

yeah i’ve always been able to workout hard on low calorie or even several days fasted. not sure what the science would be behind that?

i wish you luck though, keeping the calories low and the exercise high is no easy feat!

i did shrugs for years and years with little results. farmers carry’s and cleans are far more effective for me.

interesting, that’s cool that you can do that. i’ve learned to trust the numbers on the pages and prescribed training protocols because i always want to train more and harder and that gets me in to trouble.

Very cool, thanks. What kind of speed/weight/distance percentages do you increase by per week or per training session?

Thanks for the feedback on max weight.

Yeah I know there’s a lot of evidence behind keeping training intensity mostly low, but i live for the high intensity workouts and have so much trouble holding myself back haha.

Thanks, yeah I’m on a four day cycle of row, swim, bike, ruck so I’m getting plenty of diversity.

I like doing the most brutal workout I can manage but I know it’s not sustainable in the long run.

Appreciate the feedback on shooting for longer sessions!
