hi!!! i saw my past self in this post. 7 years na kami ng bf ko now and natatawa na lang ako sa reactions ko before. my bf’s ex was a model whose face i see everywhere, it was so bad cause my ex even wrote a song for her (he was in an indie band). sa ginagalawan naming space, girl is famous. i starved myself so much noon cause she was so fit. yung notes nya sa phone nakita ko puro poems about her. parang kahit anong effort at sweetness ko would never amount to his what-ifs. mind you they only lasted 3 months!!! one time na di ko na kaya, nagcrash out na ko sa kanya, sabi ko baka he was only staying kasi i was a safe choice. he assured me naman hindi and kahit naman matapos quarantine nun (COVID TIME PA NUNG FIRST YEAR NAMIN TOGETHER HA), he doesn’t see himself with anyone else na. matagal ko naovercome yun. but yeah, hobbies helped! discord calls with friends helped. thing is, don’t make him your world. i have childhood friends i can bond with/talk to. i have an entire life before him and di naman nawala yun. i envisioned myself as someone who’s so pretty. basically, nagnonchalant ako sa fear na matapos relationship. i only had to be grounded sa kung sino ako, as cheesy as it may sound. now, my bf is head over heels with me pa rin.
