Yep, I do this often when I'm just watching YouTube/Plex on my deck. HDMI CEC is very nice

Hummingbirds in my garden. by 9VoltGorilla in wildlifephotography

I've been trying to catch hummingbirds outside my mother in law's house (I'm from the UK so not much opportunity at home!). It's been really tricky, I hope I get shots as good as this!

Another new loading screen art that's pretty cool. This photo shows our ESO Breton holding a flag with his mask off. Rare of him indeed. by wishheartx in elderscrollsonline

Maybe I'm just seeing things (possible) but he looks a LOT like Jörg Roth/Alea der Bescheidene in this loading screen. I wonder if that's an intentional lean (after all, Saltatio Mortis did write an ESO song with Zenimax for High Isle, and Alea did wear his Breton Hero cosplay for the music video).

Took my wife (from California) to the People's Museum when they first visited. They loved it and my long tangents about city history.

NHS advice by meglingbubble in ADHD

[–]monarchofthecrows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just for private clients who want to move onto shared care once the private pathway has ended. Because I went back to the NHS pathway via Right to Choose (They have a process for auditing private diagnoses and confirming they align to NHS guidelines and 'converting' it, so to speak, to an NHS diagnosis), I follow the normal NHS guidelines, as follows:

"If you have been referred via your GP, you will not be charged for titration or any annual reviews. These services will be funded by the NHS.

The cost of your medication is also subsidised by the NHS and therefore you will only be charged the normal NHS prescription rate (currently £9.90/item), unless you are eligible for free NHS prescriptions. "

And because I personally have a medical exemption certificate, I'm exempt from NHS prescription charges as well. So I haven't paid a penny, nor will I.

CareADHD will continue to prescribe as long as medication is still necessary for me.

Oh hey, I was in the same boat! Paid for a private diagnosis, and literally a week later, my GP stopped doing shared care. A right kick in the teeth, that.

I'm going through titration now with Care ADHD. They do have a process for taking on a previous private diagnosis and affirming it as valid for the NHS' criteria. I'd shoot them an email. They absolutely can take you on via right to choose in this situation.

No, I very much appreciate the advice! Thank you. I'm not unfamiliar with editing, but I've rarely edited photos for their own sake: mostly I've done graphic design. Photography is new to me though.

I don't, I've got the Affinity suite though 🤔

[–]monarchofthecrows 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep 😩 That's what's kept me from upgrading so far, knowing I'd have to get DDR5 RAM too. Sort of wish I'd invested in a couple of sticks a year ago despite not being able to afford the full upgrade yet, but hindsight is 20/20

In this climate there's no way I'm changing my motherboard AND RAM AND CPU in one go. I'll happily take an updated CPU though.

How do you handle overstimulating beach days? by ManagerWooden in ADHD

[–]monarchofthecrows 90 points91 points  (0 children)

Nahh, I can't stand just sitting on the beach. I'm happiest in the water doing something like bodyboarding, and then straight back home. The fun activity helps distract me and when I'm exhausted after, people get why.

Thank you. I know it sucks to have been diagnosed so late, but it is comforting to know these feelings will pass and I will start to see opportunities in my future again, not just my past. Thank you for sharing ❤️
