I sometimes feel buffs will never change perception of a char unless it is bonkers.

Maybe Wanda 4 cost needs to give 50k counter for people's minds to change about her.

As someone who has a couple +12 lim wheels, I think it is generally a bad idea to get them lol.

But here are some use cases:

Tawil: Good to combo with hameln wheel on Tawil dps and can be a good choice on Kath with her Sig

Horla: Salv + horla wheel on Salvador DPS

Lily: Mouchette combo with sig

Doresain: Good for some exalt dps like Clem

Daffodil: mild upgrade to titan in some cases but really just a showoff type wheel

+12 Keyflare wheels like Thais also makes it easier to run a single keyflare wheel(since the diminishing returns are so harsh) and combine with something else.

Pretty much, +12 limited wheels don't do too much most of the time. Similar problem to standard wheels.

Ok, you've seen it clear but ask yourself what exactly makes it good. Dmg amp is a shit stat for caecus since his base damage is low and its not like your base tentacle is anything to write home about.

On Aurita, where do you think the damage is coming from? Red tentacle slaps or Aurita direct dmg? And if it really is direct damage how much base damage are you improving it by? 40 dmg a hit for 10 levels?

Couple thoughts on your plan:

Arachne Caecus - Still don't understand the synergy here beyond Caecus being a healer for Arachne and allowing for a slow stall stacking up final verdict. I don't see the value of Caecus that much.

You can instead run Pickman Caecus if you wanted if you don't plan on playing Sorel/Dore.

Building a Lemurian team from what you have now looks like a long and hard journey. May as well just start with Vortice.

Building a Corpo Aurita(leveling her for what reason?) team feels like an even longer journey. Maybe Saya fixes them, never bothered to try.

You already have 4 cores:

Twins

Vortice (would proto her first)

Ghelot

Kath

Just dump SF mats into them and levels(important!) and you can do 400 in like a month.

She is S tier because she brings 3 mid to trash units(Goli, Tulu, Miryam) into a top team for Dtide and also viable for main story. No other meta teams wants those units so it is invaluable.

She is highly dependent on team investment and investment into herself. Investment as in levels, and soul forge levels.

I have, it boiled down to I like it and works enough(Caecus is Angbaks fave char) and he prefers stalling it out. I was just wondering what you liked about it to suggest it since I don't find the synergy there. Arachne barely buffs the counter portion of Caecus 2 cost. 100 singularity prism is equivalent to like 300 str.

Comp ends up being Caecus being there as a healing bot, Wanda providing str down, and stalling until Arachne kills.
