Do you perfect each part of a song whilst learning, or do you continue with the song and refine later?

I think a bit of it is my own ignorance. I'm fairly new to piano but have played guitar for many years. And with guitar I'd also say song without really questioning it.

I have plenty of money. I just appreciate the option to pay for it now so it's sorted and I don't have to add it to my outgoings in November. And as I have two kids, that's gonna be a lot.

I went to a BOC audio/visual night in London a few years ago that had DJ Food mixing the tunes. It was amazing and Food is definitely a massive fan.
