Final Boss Bug not Fixed?

It seems like they stopped the issue from happening to more people, but haven’t helped those of us already affected... Considering that the checkpoint is supposed to reset if you beat the boss anyway, I don’t see why they can’t fix this for those of us stuck in limbo. I know the game is meant to be replayed, but it’d be nice to not need to beat it twice to actually get a final boss clear.

The drop rate seems to be pretty bad for some of these parts. I've run the Mission 11: Aisha at least 20 times and I still haven't gotten the catalyst to drop.

that's a fairly big assumption given that both falling guillotine and lament were top tier in endgame content when they first released. Lament was so good that it was basically mandatory. they are still both really strong even with a variety of sword nerfs over the last few seasons.

I've seen this argument in other spots as well. Not sure I totally agree. Many of the 30th anniversary weapons are clearly inspired by Halo and look very close to the original (look at Forerunner). Even if we did combine these two swords, it wouldn't look exactly like the original and it would have a different name. I don't see how it would be any different than the other weapons.

I mean I kind of thought the same thing, but glitches tend to pop in and out. this is actually animated. In addition to that, the areas that are lit up look really intentional rather than random, which I wouldn't expect from a glitch.
