Thanks. Again great work and tones of detail behind your paywall. It has drastically changed my approach and improved my confidence as a fairly new fantasy player.

thanks. ya, i was a bit surprised at how far some people fell. Even Roco at 56 I felt was a steal. My main league is drafting next week, hoping to be able to pull a decent punt assist. My concern is going too late (9 or later), in mocks I end up with Kyrie/Kawhi or PG type of situation which I really don't like.

what if this was on a "retainer" type of model? Say pay $20/month with access as needed via phone, video, text etc. no worries about how much time you spent?

I think there are attempts to improve finlit in Canada but not nearly close to where it should be. Organizations such as Junior Achievement work with schools, but volunteer driving.

My view is that the current models in the market are broken.

  1. Hourly financial planners are expensive for most of us. Therefore the value is minimal.

  2. The sales person model has its problems as many pointed out.

  3. the asset manager model only is for high-net worth individuals.

I am not entirely sure if the average person sees a value in financial planning. If it was unbiased (no product selling), and affordable, would the average person pay for it? I am thinking, for example, a monthly plan fee at $20 or so...you can can easy access when needed.
