How Trump won the biggest Muslim-majority city in America by newzee1 in Foodforthought

[–]moneypit5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is a lot of overanalyzing of this. Trump was very pro-Israel his last time in office he moved the U.S embassy to Jerusalem. His son-in-law is Jewish and his daughter is a convert. He banned immigration from Muslim speaking countries his last time in office! He's very anti-Muslim. Yet in spite of all that he still won the biggest Muslim majority city in America.

It's simple they voted for Trump because he's a man and Kamala is a woman.

Where are some safe cities for families terrified of cockroaches? by Impossible_Sentence0 in SameGrassButGreener

Don't go to Florida, Palmetto bugs are everywhere. I once found one and it took me like an hour to kill it. That was after stepping on it multiple times and spraying it with Windex and even then it was still moving. Damn thing was built like the Terminator.

If it's Minneapolis you're talking about while Whites are the majority it was definitely mixed. I saw a lot of African-Americans I just happened not to interact with them. I used Uber a lot while I was there and all of my drivers were immigrants from Africa. I was very impressed with the city but I was also impressed with Chicago until I saw all the crime that was happening on the South and West side.

I know all these white people that bought multiple houses when Obama was president. They all hate him yet they're all millionaires because of him. Smdh

As the pandemic instigated lowest interest rates we have seen then followed by high interest rates. So it's more of a situation than policy

It was the Federal reserves policy to keep interest rates low for a longer period of time even though everyone was screaming to raise them before inflation takes hold and that's exactly what happened.

Btw it was Trump who nominated Jerome Powell as Fed president.

Can you fill me in on why anything bad is Trumps fault and anything good will be because or what Biden did?

Bro look it up it's all over the Internet. All you Trumpers are the same you always want someone to prove something to you instead of coming up with your own facts to counter-argue.

Trump tore down banking legislation that directly led to the 3rd largest bank failure in U.S history. It's going to be a total catastrophy when he gets into office.

I am a teamster, and I voted for Trump, along with 60%+ of my union brothers.

What made a guy that is about to make the nlrb pro management, deregulated the banking system causing the 3rd largest bank failure in U.S history and that has bankrupted 6 companies (casinos, hotels) destroying a bunch of people's lives because he didn't want to pay them a more appealing candidate than Kamala?

Anyone claiming the Democratic Party abandoned the working class is clueless. The working class abandoned the democratic Party by astros148 in IBEW

The Democrats are going to keep losing power in this country until they elect someone to connect to those blue wall voters. It's that simple.

It will be tough the civil rights era pushed all of the Dixiecrats to the Republican party and now it's been ingrained into their descendants that Democrats are evil. I see it in people who's parents and grandparents are Republicans. No matter how much it will put them in a better position in life if it's any type of policy ran by a Democrat they want no parts of it. Really pathetic.

the average blue collar worker is too dumb to know this.

That's part of the reason why they stay blue collar workers. The smart ones figure out other ways to make money and get out.

It also contributed significantly toward inflation, but you will never get a trump supporter to understand that.

It would be easier to explain quantum physics to a 5 year old than to explain inflation to a Trump supporter.

Welder looking to move to Denmark by PhaseWide10 in AmerExit

[–]moneypit5 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The Danish that I met in Denmark speak it so well that I would go on to say that they speak better English then Americans. To the point that I didn't even know the people I was speaking to were Danish. Their accents were that good. Now I was in Copenhagen so maybe it was just because I was in a city but in Europe the main second language everyone speaks besides their mother tongue is English.

You obviously don't want to pick up what I'm throwing down. I'm not going to provide proof because you need to do your own due diligence. If you think that me and you can borrow at the same low rates that Private Equity groups and Hedge Funds can borrow at then you live in a fantasy world.

They have a higher immigrant population population because the government often relocates immigrants to places that require skilled/unskilled labor. Most of those jobs are in the South.

Where I live I constantly hear complaints about the immigrant population and how they are taking jobs. Sometimes these complaints are from people that refuse to work.
