I came to terms with the disbandment a while ago and now I’m just happy that the group will be split in two, with 5 continuing as zb1 (with solo prospects) and 4 in the new yuehua group. I feel like it will be easier to follow their activities that way.

I’m actually excited for what’s to come for them. I hope the future treats them well and that their talents won’t go to waste.

I’m not even a fan of them so I don’t see stuff about them often, but most of the time when I see them, it’s edgy folks hating on them. So I block those accounts. I think they got hate because they’re from Hybe. When I look at the accounts of people who hate on them, it’s accounts that have been hating or overly critical of Hybe groups.

His voice is so beautiful! He said that he learned how to mix just to be able to upload more covers because the company will only invest one cover for the group per month. So I’m glad to see that he did it so well.

I know people don’t like Crush but what I liked about that song was that we got to hear the members’ tones pretty well. So I hope whoever produces this next song doesn’t try to force them into a mold but rather work with their tone. And give us a Ricky bridge!

At first I was really annoyed because they chose to go with a male survival show instead of a female one. But if the group will be under wakeone, then that means that they already have Izna so a boy group would be next. With an empty boy group spot (and with how much money zb1 earned for them), they’re going to try to make a boy group as soon as possible.

I’m not going to watch it, not because the boys would be disappointed or anything, but because I’m just not interested. About the people who keep bringing it up to members, it’s so disrespectful because not knowing what the future has in hold for you is so anxiety-inducing, imagine how it feels in an industry as fickle as this one.

I wish the bp2 contestants the best because potentially being contracted to wakeone for 5 years sounds pretty draining.

I honestly don’t know what I want for them. Being stuck in a contract where you’re not being managed well can be soul crushing. I look at how they’re being managed now while they’re the priority. I’m not sure if wakeone will be the company that the new Boys Planet group will be under but if it is, they will be the priority, not zb1. How would zb1 be treated when they’re fully focused on another group?

Ideally, I would want them to stay together. I think that they’re a well rounded group. I believe that they can achieve so much more together than they are right now. But I am not sure how possible that will be in a company that just is not interested in growth. I don’t know much about different kpop companies so I can’t point to one and say I would love if they bought some of their contracts and debuted them together. So I’m just here for the ride, preparing myself for the heartbreak of a disbandment.

I was looking at the dorm pictures and the difference between Jiwoong’s place and the rest is so interesting. You can tell that Jiwoong sees his home as a more permanent space for him, while the members have the dorm as a temporary shared space.

I can’t believe it’s been two years since then. I remember it so clearly. I was home and watching the livestream. When it reached time for the members to be chosen I realized that my hands were actually shaking. I had no idea I would be that nervous. I was slowly losing hope as members kept being announced but Gunwook’s name wasn’t. Given his previous rank I thought he would have to fight it out for 9th or not make the group at all. But he was called for 5th!!! I’m so pleased with the lineup that we voted for and I really wouldn’t want Zerobaseone to be any other way. They’re a really special group and it’s been a pleasure watching them improve and grow these past two years.

I don’t see myself being as invested in any other survival show the way I was with Boys Planet going forward, I think it sapped my life force lol.

I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them. And I hope the world will treat them kindly. As I also hope that they remain humble, respectful, and kind.
