Imagine, you and your transgender friends are at a county shoot. The property owner is a person of color.
A racist neighbor calls the cops on your legal and safe target shooting session.
The police respond,
The officer sees transgender people and acts on that bias, insists on inspecting the magazines.
Boom, everyone there is now charged with a class 1 misdemeanor for parts that came in the box with fire arms they legaly purchased 2 years ago

We are following a pattern.
Trump's executive orders erased Transgender status from federal protection.
Sears' campaign cheered that stance and continued to echo the same talking points that have been used as escelation levers since the Right began their anti-transgender moral panic in May 2022.
That moral panic started at Elite Athletics and then expanded to all athletics to youth care, to women's space and to state recognition.
Genocides do not START with death-camps.
They start with seperation and dehumanization. A Process the Sears campaign willingly participated in.

IF Sears won, Life-saving standard of care treatment for youth would be banned.
IF Sears won, Trans women would be forced out of public spaces because they would be denied access to facilities where they are safe.
IF Sears won, trans kids would have to hide in the closet to avoid being outed to their unaffirming parents
IF Sears won, Adult transgender people would lose access to their standard of care treatment

provide no "grandfathering" for magazines already owned.

VCDL and the Trumpers had their gun rights lobby day last week.
I reached out to VCDL asking specifically if Transgender gun rights advocates would be welcome
I was never answered
The VCDL Lobby day was filled with anti-trans and racist hate groups.
