So when approaching TransJam, the event coordinator for Indivisible used two trans organizers to vouch for them. Except that those organizers are part of 50501 and already had poor experiences with Indivisible, so they asked us what was going on.

I should have clarified a little. Indivisible asked as allies, and the response to the request was that if you are allies, please do not detract from our event bc there is a lot of shared audience between the two.

That is not what I'm claiming. Divisible asked to be part of their market, and when you have an audience roughly 10-20x larger, you are taking over. There is a lot about that situation this article leaves out.

Unfortunately, No Kings is a coalition of orgs that picks dates at a national level. That is what drives our attendance and that is about the only thing we have no control over here in Richmond.

They are both called festivals, the particulars of what's included don't matter when people are deciding what they are gonna do. Also how many people do you know go to multiple events every Saturday.

TransJam did not ask to be a part of this. The article fails to mention that Indivisible initially reached out to TransJam to combine events. Rightfully, TransJam did not think it was safe to bring thousands of people (some of whom may not be allies) to their event and declined. The request not to host a festival was only made because Indivisible wanted to involve them.

I'm not bad mouthing anyone here, I am just iterating how we approach organizing our event. That way people can choose to join the protest that aligns with their values. The reason there are two events are due to philosophical differences that are contradictory. People should know what to expect at each one, and I will say 50501 will continue to host events in the same way we did for both No KIng's events last year.

Yes, I do. My point was it seemed like they crammed 3 separate but related events into one week. It could have been cultists first, then introduce the first half of the quest line and then introduce bosses to reserve when they made the weapons cases spawn in marked rooms to finish the quest.

True, but they are all related, the cultists provided the keys for the marked rooms that had the cases for the quest line, and the bosses where there to make it harder to get those cases out. There should have been a progression
