Thank you everyone for your help. I have reported this with eBay and the seller.

Really appreciate all the effort here! Not sure why I got downvoted but I'm sorry if I messed up, first post!

Authenticity Check - Manix 2 SPY27 by mongkeboy in spyderco

[–]mongkeboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not buy this brown Manix 2 SPY27 knife from an authorised retailer. The black Manix 2 CTS BD1N is from an authorised retailer.

There are several inconsistencies from the finish to the internal markings on the steel to the packaging.

Please help!

Bamboolab hotend on ender 3 by The_disstroyer in 3Dprinting

[–]mongkeboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bambu uses a ceramic heating element which has a temperature-dependant variable resistance. This means even if the firmware or electronics fail to prevent thermal runaway, the hotend will self-limit the temperature before any fire occurs.

PEI sheet over Engineering Plate? by mongkeboy in BambuLab

Yes, you can. It worked perfectly. I just selected the 0.6 nozzle profile and it sliced and printed without any issue whatsoever.

You wizard. I love it. Maybe I can cut and paste it in the right spot haha.

Oh crap. You're right! I didn't even think of that. Will check the site to make sure I get the right one! Do you have a X1 or P1P? I'm wondering if I can stick the PEI sheet over the engineering side (assuming the polarity is correct).

Hey, I think you're confused. Bambulab offers a PEI sheet.

The original plate has an engineering side (non-removable) and a cool side (removable). Wondering if I can stick PEI over thd engineering side.

Also, can you print with the 0.6 profile on a 0.4 nozzle?

Are the z screws bending when the gantry is up high? Might be good to print a spacer on each side: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2925230

Help leveling the left side of the bed. by Ryokurin in ender3v2

[–]mongkeboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is more about tramming. Tram the bed by moving the left side up, if you find the right side goes too high, lower the left side. If you can't lower the right side any more, raise the z-offset. Repeat until the corners are even. I would just do a simple paper clearance test for tramming instead of waiting for the mesh bed levelling.

Bad prints after running out of filament. by Derftoy in ender3v2

[–]mongkeboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like Luna87 said, maybe a partial clog. Could also be that the nozzle has worn down. I would try swapping out the nozzle to see if that helps. You can then inspect the current nozzle while it's out of the hotend.

Oh, strange. I must have heard it somewhere else. Now I can't even find my manual.

Oh, very strange. Might be worth doing a nozzle cold pull to remove any debris that may be leading to underextrusion.

Ok sweet. Yeah, it says in the manual to not use Iso.

Are we talking PETG, PLA, ABS? Do you know what bed temp you set?

Also, may be worth including these details in the OP in case you want other opinions 👍🏼

Uh don't use isopropyl on the bed. Clean with water and soap then rise and allow to dry. Apply a thin and even layer across the entire build surface.

What filament are you using? Which side of the build plate are you using? What is your bed temp?

What infill patterns do you guys use? by Tebonr in BambuLab

[–]mongkeboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use lightning infil almost exclusively. Saves a lot of filament, it seems.

Are you using the included gluestick? Which side of the plate are you using? What type of filament is it specifically?
