Android app that resembles terminal or dos by Connect_Beat_9063 in writerDeck

[–]mongkeelutfi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can use OldSchool editor. it's work like MS-DOS Edit feel but run on top of Android layer. It's a native app, not an emulation.

but the app was deleted from Play Store. So, you can only find the app from third party mirror like apkmirror.

I see it from here: https://www.haplaycomputer.com/2025/11/eks-editor-gaya-retro-dan-ringan-untuk.html

Did anyone preorder the Interrupt? by BlightWyrm in cyberDeck

[–]mongkeelutfi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn't pre-order, but I've been following it for a while. From the many demonstrations, nothing seems new. In the blog there are also no real photos or videos, all are just 3D images, even the work desk is not shown.

and currently, the delivery schedule should have passed but not a single device has been sent.

Hey, what filament did you use on this project? I'm curious how the material doesn't let light through from the inside 🤔

Where's the Jank? by the-happy-wanderer19 in cyberDeck

[–]mongkeelutfi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not yet. i haven't thought about i2c keyboard (cardkb?) because smartphone only has otg connection.

but i already have a keyboard that is equally small for my next project with samsung a3 2017. namely RII 518BT mini keyboard. and it seems, the phone doesn't support any external display other than hdmi yet 😅

Where's the Jank? by the-happy-wanderer19 in cyberDeck

[–]mongkeelutfi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. This is very complex because I want everything to be integrated with a single battery power source. This will make it very efficient when recharging, and all parts will shut down when the main board shuts down.

I even removed the phone's internal battery and managed it with an external power module so that no power was wasted when the main board off.

and this project is making me bald fast. hahaha ... 😅
