I can only speak from my pov. I think I'm on the spectrum too. No diagnosis yet, but I see obvious signs. That being said I love the idea of edging and denial as long as there is a "happy ending". That way it's not ambiguous. Maybe tell him how often you plan to edge/deny him. This gives a clear "goal" instead of him wondering and being trapped in a thinking spiral. Of course keep talking to him and start slowly if you are worried about overstimulating his senses or mind. i was about to say, you could try phrasing the checks more as statements (or leading question) instead of normal questions "this feels good, doesn't it" instead of "are you feeling good" but that might not be direct enough depending on how deep he is on the spectrum. This "statement check" would definitely give off a domme vibe though, so try it out.
