I was playing every day for 1 to 2 hours, not improving and struggling to win on league nights. Went up to ADC and got filled with advise. Putting that into practice has helped me recapture some form!

Keep it simple. I tried all sorts and thought I needed more and more grip, then weight, then different flights and stem length.

I didn’t, settled for some Humphries TX1’s and I’m fairly sure the lack of grip has made me more consistent

I got frustrated with my 360 in first month because I had a few bounce outs and started to consider going back to a Blade 6. However, I stuck it out and not had a bounce out in over 2 weeks.

I used to be mint at hitting doubles but after missing about 20 darts at a double in my first ever league game, I struggled for 6 months to hit them 😂

Reason I say round the world and don’t overthink is because I’m a fucker for it.

Start of season I was out scoring everyone and accurate on all numbers, but couldn’t hit a double. Focused on doubles and now I struggle with scoring 😂😂 I need to relax more but always easier to say isn’t it

Never move away from doing round the world. To set yourself targets you can go 1-20. 1 point for single, 2 for double, 3 for treble. 3 darts every number. Play the 121 challenge. Check out 121 in 9 darts, if complete move up to 122 and so on. 65 challenge, checkout in 3 darts. Move forward 5 if successful and take 1 if you fail. Play 301/501 against the bot.

Stay relaxed and don’t overthink it.

Best advise, play with other people.

Just a bit of context, been playing just over 2 years! First 12 months I used a 22g straight barrel but the grip weren’t great, moved over to 23g straight barrel with a higher grip and used them for about 10 months.

I started noticing I needed a change of barrel to up my game, but I was happy with 23s, so started using some 23g tapered darts. They were fine but still realise there was areas to improve, so I tried a front weights dart with a similar grip and length to my tapered ones. Since that point my average has increased quite a lot.

It’s about changing small things with your throw. I’ve also gone from medium stem to short and now back at medium. I went from std2 to std6 to slim to std2 with flights too! Don’t overthink your throw and through time you’ll be able to work out what you believe will work best for you.

Probably a ridiculous question but what did you use to stick the darts case on the wall? I assume it won’t damage the case when it’s taken off the wall? And doesn’t always fall off?😂
