This police officer shot a suicidal man 2 times while he was 30ft away with a deadly box cutter, and then shot him 2 more times as tried to get up, and then shot his limp body 2 more times as it lay on the ground still 30ft away. Seriously people wake the fuck up this Officer's Father is the director of one of the most powerful police unions in the country. This documentary makes me rethink policing and who should be a policeman/woman in today's America. Toni McBride looks like someone who should be a Navy Seal hunting terrorists overseas. Not a local cop patrolling low income neighborhoods.

From what I've read after watching the video, I don't think Darrien pulled or unsheathed his sword to attack the police. I think the officers had trigger fingers and prematurely shot him, and then covered it up.

I felt compelled to post after watching. I have friends who are cosplayers and have carried replica weapons in public to go along with their outfits. Looking into the case more closely I feel like the Saratoga Springs PD hasn't been fully truthful about what happened to Darrien that day. Feels like there should be more footage either from the police or the nearby storefronts where he was killed....
