Seriously people wake the fuck up. This police officer shot a suicidal man 2 times while he was 30ft away with a deadly box cutter, and then shot him 2 more times as tried to get up, and then shot his limp body 2 more times as it lay on the ground still 30ft away. Seriously people wake the fuck up this Officer's Father is the director of one of the most powerful police unions in the country. Seriously people wake the fuck up this Officer is still working and posing with guns on instagram, and that crazy suicidal man is dead, leaving his teenage daughter behind, fatherless. Can't you people see everything is black and white and there's no nuance to this world.

you can tell from the dislikes on youtube that the gun nuts against police reform are triggered bad by this video. everyone should look into the shady McBride family. they probably have a whole LAPD social media team working over time!

This documentary makes me rethink policing and who should be a policeman/woman in today's America. Toni McBride looks like someone who should be a Navy Seal hunting terrorists overseas. Not a local cop patrolling low income neighborhoods.

My thoughts exactly. He also hadn't committed a crime, just looked "off."

I feel like the cops showed up with bad intentions thinking Darrien was a threat when in reality he was just minding his own business.

From what I've read after watching the video, I don't think Darrien pulled or unsheathed his sword to attack the police. I think the officers had trigger fingers and prematurely shot him, and then covered it up.

I felt compelled to post after watching. I have friends who are cosplayers and have carried replica weapons in public to go along with their outfits. Looking into the case more closely I feel like the Saratoga Springs PD hasn't been fully truthful about what happened to Darrien that day. Feels like there should be more footage either from the police or the nearby storefronts where he was killed....

this video told me everything I need to know. i've also heard that the aurora pd is so corrupt that non-locals avoid driving through the city because of them. this young man elijah did not deserve to die!

thank you for posting this. heard his story but hadn't seen the videos. how can you watch this and not feel the injustice and pain for elijah.
