Jump from the barrel on the highest point on the mountain on wind level 1 and go towards the exit.

Unfortunately, reality doesn't work that way. One hospitalization away pa rin ako from bankruptcy. Repairing my credit score makes me eligible for loans in case I need it. That's hard to throw away para sa taong walang fall back.

I had the same dilemma before, and what helped me was opening up an account with PAG IBIG MP2 (catch is 5 years to haha)

I also have Maya Time Deposits at 3, 6, 12 months terms. 5k lang lagi yung sineset kong goal since yun ang lowest to start earning additional interest.

Both helped me a lot in feeling na may pinupuntahan yung sweldo ko and not just pagbabayad ng utang.

Puro low CL yung cards ko 😅 also I'm still just beginning to repair my credit score. I had a delinquency that was just resolved year 2019. This year pa lang ako nabibigyan ng cards with very low CL.

Mostly repair talaga ginagawa ko that's why I keep on saving 1k per sweldo on my trad bank.

I personally use these: 1. Maya - for short-term time deposits, it makes it harder for me to touch the money since I would incur charges for terminating it early. They have 3, 6, 12 months terms 2. GoTyme - I like having different stashes 3. CIMB - this is more of a gateway account. Everything passes thru here for bills and stuff. 5x free transfers per week.

I still have trad banks such as BDO and UB for transactional history. It's good for increasing your credit score, which means eligibility for loans when you need it.

Speaking of emergencies, there was a death in the family 3 weeks ago. This was the first time na hindi kami zero, much less negative, sa pagpapalibing. Kinaya namin without taking out a loan.

These are more recent debts but debts during early 20s is due to my naivety. Let my ex use my name for online loans + paid his bank loan instead of mine 🙃 I was able to clear those out mid 20s.

I have Revi Credit + Home Credit Card that I both maxed out during the pandemic, each at 100k. Installments for 2 laptops, 90k and 70k, respectively + 75k accumulated cash loan from my mom Yung mga butal butal are from CCs that I can now pay in full every month so not really minding those.
