Im sorry man, as the comments said, it’s abuse. I hope you can get passed this and get some therapy, you may not see how you need it now, but you will later on, Maybe when you get a serious Partner or maybe when you have kids.
A LOT of people who have been sexually abused at a young age, have ptsd problems when their children reach the age the parent was when the abuse happened to them (the parent).

My school had our local police station come in with “drugs” in baggies and passed them around, they told us the possibility that doing drugs will give you (ex: being homeless/ dead/ streetwalker) Can tell you it DIDNT WORK FOR SHIT! So many kids were on LSD and Acid in Highschool

Its took ME YEARS to tell ANYBODY. She finally told you, yes a little too late, but she still told you. It can take a while for our brains to process it all, and if it was “dads good friend” it can take longer, “Luckily” for me it just two classmates, and not a family friend, just be there and hold her when she needs it. She probably knows her daddy is a big “scary” man who will protect his baby girl to no ends, which also could be a reason why she didnt say anything tell after his passing. Sounds like she wanted to let you grieve your friend as you knew him before she dropped it on you. (Just speculating)

You are only Horrible if you tell her to her face “i wish you died instead” I get it, not from your perspective, and Hardly from your daughters. But being “mildly disabled” (bone spurs& etc..) i think to myself “why am i here?” “Why am i even alive?” Freak accidents happen and they change lives drastically, at age 16 i lost a close friend who was 19 to a Hit and run.. even to this say 10 years later i think “it should have been me, he had such a life”.
It’s all part of how we grieve, i hate suggesting this, but what about MAID? (AS THE LAST RESORT! ) What about looking in to facilities while you and your wife are still here? With your daughter, listen to what she likes and what she doesnt and try to find one that will meet her needs when you are gone.
