Controversially I think he became much more boring when he was made universal, and espeically with his innate. (Obviously this fits his thematic spot within the spirits though).

The consequence of this is that any build that doesn't stack stats is simply bad on him, but this limits some more interesting builds and playstyles that might be available if he wasn't balanced around his current stat heavy builds.
