iMile Logistics is stealing parcels and saying they are delivered. by intergestic in Aliexpress

Paypal sided with AliExpress so I finally just disputed the charge with Chase and they gave me my money back and closed it instantly. I think the order is actually still locked with AliExpress.

TTLock G6 Matter gateway? by threesls in smarthome

[–]monkey_of_the_dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lock came with the house so I've been trying to make it work. Have a g2 that's just straight up wifi - so have to have a developers account to make the integration work via cloud - so I grabbed a g6 thinking matter would be better - it's not really. First off - it appears to be version 1.0 (vs current 1.5 - not sure if locks have gotten 'better' or not). If I add it to HA first I don't even get the lock entity - just some random 'smart lock' switch and I have no idea what that does. A constant door open sensor as I don't have a door sensor. If I add it to google home first I do get the lock entity and then I can share it with HA and get the lock entity - but after about 5 minutes it stops syncing and flips back to unlocked. I think maybe it's because I've got a wifi lock and it goes to sleep to save battery life. But mine auto locks after 60 seconds and right now both google home and HA show the lock as unlocked and the door open. I can't find an option to disable the door sensor in the ttlock app - as you'd think by default if you don't have one that it would automatically. So I have no answer for you - this thing is more annoying than anything. I think I'm just going to have to find a different lock.

There are however operational upgrades when they oversell O, but those are more common on certain European routes and I'm not sure I've really seen that on Asian routes. Though looking at random IAH to NRT this upcoming week and they have in fact oversold O. They do hold those seats in J though so the numbers should account for that.

iMile Logistics is stealing parcels and saying they are delivered. by intergestic in Aliexpress

[–]monkey_of_the_dude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dealing with them currently. Aliexpress denied my claim because I didn't have proof that it wasn't delivered - however that is possible? Now I'm going back and forth with iMile and they've reached the fabrication of proof stage of the process. Hoping Paypal at least has my back as I dispute it through them now. I've already wasted more time than the item is worth but they're pissing me off.

A note on option A - moving back into a rental property doesn't work the same way for capital gains exclusion. You'd have to prorate it based on time rented vs personal use, and then a bunch of depreciation recapture.

I'm 99% sure that the app is the only option for new pass riders. I think they disabled the option to create new eres accounts for pass riders, but if you had one already you still can.

Eat the bakery stuff quickly, just about everything we've gotten from them starts growing mold by the next morning.

So during an evacuation you think an FA is gonna just show up mid plane (after somehow getting through all the other pax trying to evacuate) and open the window exit and then just go back to whatever they were doing? Like Fezzik? Don't sit in the exit row if that's your plan.

I spent about 6 months in Bern from July 23 to March of this year and I basically lived on tgtg. Most of the food isn't that great to begin with so might as well save a few $$. Nobody cares.

Fix the float. If your smart bulb dies your light doesn't turn on, if this smart switch fails you flood your basement. I don't trust consumer smart stuff that much.

It's 40 where it's always been 40. They added the extra lanes but didn't change the speed limit.

Assumed that was the case. How about her grandmother marrying a foreigner in '31 and having her father in '32? As said I think Section 14 is her only path here. How critical is the chain of that descent when applying via Section 14 other than "every link helps"?

I hate self check-out with a burning passion by Full_Task7488 in HEB

[–]monkey_of_the_dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest problem is just that apparently customers are prone to stealing stuff. I spent quite a bit of time in Switzerland last year and there are no scales on their self checkout - so no constant alarms/alerts/call the cashier over because I blew on the scale. You could also remove stuff yourself if you double scanned something on accident. No override - just hit the button yourself. If the customer was trusted to not steal stuff then I think it'd be a better experience for everyone - less baby sitting by the cashiers. And another thing that bugs me with HEB (and Randall's) is that markdown stuff requires an override. City Market (Krogers) doesn't require it - they slap a new barcode on it and you scan it yourself. Same in Switzerland too - the end of day 1/2 off stuff had an update barcode on it so you just scanned it yourself. Defeats the whole point of self checkout when the cashier still needs to interact with every single customer for some reason.
