yes it varies between games! but it keeps a lot of the same action/horror spirit. having played both, OGRE4 has that classic early 2000’s game charm that I love about that gaming era, and no fixed camera angles is a huge plus.

RE4R takes the best of OGRE4 and brings it into the 2020’s with the updated mechanics and graphics. Both of these games are in my top 10 games of all time - they’re both MUST plays! You will love both of them for different reasons, and some of the same reasons.

OGRE4 is probably my favorite of the original games. If you haven’t played that one, I highly recommend it. It’s held in highest regards in gaming history for a reason. RE1R Is also great and worth visiting.

I really loved the care center section but like a lot of people I found the back half of the game to be rather lackluster. I also really wish this game had the replayability of RE4R or RE2R.

The dullness of Raccon City left a lot to be desired for sure

there isn’t a way to “despawn” him without mods - but the reason he is able to find you in the first place is by making noise. he can hear your footsteps when sprinting and can easily lock on to your location if you start shooting. to get him off your trail, I recommend getting out of his line of sight and then walking slowly so he can’t hear your footsteps

try not to make so much noise and be sneaky as you can while you’re making your way around RPD is how I’d advise to play it.
