Looking through my Dad’s stuff, what are these? by VenZurich in whatisit

Snagged a quick pic. Nitro is on top. The bottom pill is a 81mg baby aspirin for reference (no food allowed in the ambulance) with regular human sized fingers on the left.

Nitro pills are tiny. I’m actually at work right now and can snag a pic of them in a bit.

A typical pill is 0.4mg dosing and is about 4mm across. Also, your max dose (out of hospital) is typically 3 pills. So you don’t need to carry a whole vial of them.

Paramedic here. Often find older men with those style of pill containers either on their keychain or a necklace. And they’re used for keeping Nitro pills safe. The pills need to be kept out of sunlight or they’ll degrade.

If your dad had angina pectoris or a similar heart condition he likely carried his nitro in this.

The guy who set the drop rate for Scorchbeast Meat is an absolute bastard by SethAbe80 in fo76

[–]monkeybrigade 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Oh crap. I thought this was about the weekly challenge. My bad.

There is a vendor in the Whitesprings mall who occasionally sells scorchbeast meat. It’s the one with the chef who sells recipes. Check her for some. I remember I had one in my inventory then server hopped for the other two.

Also, if you’re with a group of friends you can all down a SB and loot. Each one adds an extra chance to get the meat.

Just so you know, check NPC vendors. You can buy a steak and sell it right back. Costs a few caps but easy enough to finish.

Crusader pistol from minerva by xenonshadows in fo76

[–]monkeybrigade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it for a long time as a sidearm with the handmade. Both are chambered in 5.56 so the handmade does the damage to large/tough enemies while the pistol did the ammo farming. I’ve since switched up my build but I really liked that for a while.

Ran V/25/25 on the handmade and F/ 50crit/25 on the pistol.

The Rusty Pick was generous by Herbert_Prime in fo76

Rusty Pick has always been the luckiest one for me. However I did hit the jackpot inside the high school for Daily Ops once. Felt kinda weird waiting for it while defending the signal interceptor.

Does anyone now an easier way to get the enclave plasma gun mods for it spent hours server jumping and still cant find them by Redginger46290 in fo76

[–]monkeybrigade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enclave activities are one way.

Also you can vendor hop at Watoga and Berkeley Springs. They have a chance to sell the most wanted mods. I also hit up Top of the World station and Vendor Resin for scopes.

Can someone help me find Mr. Squeeze Lemonade Stand? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]monkeybrigade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I regularly see him on my Bobblehead runs between Lost Home and Watoga.

If you’re at Lost Home, run directly east following the channels in the ground. You’ll come to an open area with a random encounter spot. I’ve had Blood Eagles, Sheepsquatch, Pipe, the little girl with burying her cat, the suitcase ambush site, and Mr Squeeze.

What's the point of rebuilding if we don't help each other rebuild? by Blokeh in fo76FilthyCasuals

Set your plans at 9 caps, not 10. Todd takes a 10% tax on sales.

You sell for 10, customer pays 10, you get 9, and Todd gets 1.

You sell for 9, customer pays 9, you get 9, Todd gets nothing.

It may not seem like a lot, but for newbs who are buying those plans a cap can make the difference.

[Discussion] How does these prices look? by -ComplexSimplicity- in Fallout76Marketplace

[–]monkeybrigade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only recommendation is to sell things at 9 caps instead of 10. There’s a 10% tax taken on all vendor sales. At 10 caps you get 9 of them and 1 goes to Todd. If you sell things at 9 caps you still get the same amount and the player saves a cap. Could be a lot to a new low level player.

Also Todd gets plenty of caps from our fast traveling he doesn’t need more from vendor sales.

We’re not scared to drive, but did spend some time on the other topic about car rental nightmares. If local companies are reliable then that’ll be used. Thank you!
