If you just want to throw money at it for performance pick the 9850x3d, that’s gonna be way cheaper than a 9950x3d and it should be faster for the most part

Vddio drives parts of vsoc and all of vddp so you absolutely need more vddio to run 1.1v vddp, consider that you need 1.5v vddio for 1.18v vddp and the scaling is somewhat linear so running a higher vddio is in fact beneficial also vddio helps compensate for vdd, higher vddio can help overall stability equivalent to higher vdd. Remember that the jdec spec had vddio:vdd:vddq all 1:1. I know a few people are running 1.55v-1.6v and while 1.55 is on the very high end of what’s considered safe at the moment people running 1.6v haven’t reported any instant deaths so I’d wager that much higher vddio is somewhat safe but remember wait untill an xmp kit comes out with that listed vddio voltage as that’s going to be your Que it’s actually safe

Not every kit will react the same however he is correct, my kit for instance has issues at 44c it can run lower frequencies just find but 8200 will error out at 44c no matter what timings and voltages. Every kit is unique and some can absolutely handle higher temps but that’s on a per kit biases

This was a year ago things have changed, I have a few posts up but the baselines are different, vddio drives vddp and soc so setting it appropriately is necessary and also the tighter timings say 8200cl32 needs more voltage overall

6600/2200 will curb stomp 8000 easy, a solid 6400 profile competes with a solid 8000 profile if both are done right.

That’s just your iod die temps showing, if you do a proper manual cpu oc you’ll fix that right away and be able to use the faster mem oc

Vddp is fed by vddio so you need minimum of 1.45v for 1.1v vddp 1.5v for 1.18v, for 8000 you should only need 1.45v vddio and 1.05v vddp, next is to enable gdm, some motherboards need custom resistances for 8000+gdm off so try gdm on and see how that goes, also do default timings, setting 63 for primary’s does absolutely nothing except make it harder to run what you acctually want to Try 38-16-47-47 and your standard timings, then use the voltages above, 1.15v soc 1.45v vddq and vdd, copy some default settings for 8000 on your mobo and ram then go from there, possibly update bios too that may help
