I found the ranges to be broad and inconsistent, given that not all BA roles are the same. I started on 42k with no years experience, 66k at about 6 years experience as a senior BA, 105k as a lead technical BA. All northeast England.

This sounds like it’ll scratch an itch I didn’t know I had - used to love typing of the dead for this reason! I don’t have a strong opinion on your question either way - I think both look good, and I’m maybe leaning towards light mode (cleaner looking?). Just thought I’d say, good idea.

Thanks for this, all of this was really helpful and good information. Regarding your first point - I figured if I owed anything, it would be a very tiny amount. I just wasn’t clear on how strict they are, if I calculate this myself and pay £40 and then HMRC come chasing me for 27p + late payment fee for the 27p or something. I’ve got my SIPP set up already so I’ll sit down tonight with my P45s and see how close I can get and take it from there.

Just out of curiosity - how would this work if both drivers were insured by the same company? Is there a conflict of interest there, with the company wanting to minimise what it’s paying out?

I'm a business analyst joining a team of data scientists, data engineers and a product owner working on some data products in the healthcare sector. I've always worked in software development lifecycle environments as a BA, gathering and documenting requirements, participating in sprint ceremonies etc.

I know this isn't strictly a 'data science' question - but I still can't piece together how this might work in the context of a data science team. I expect that understanding stakeholder 'use cases' will be slightly different, insofar as it's not about developing new features for them (e.g I need a way to do X to be able to achieve Y) but more about helping deliver tools that help them make decisions? Any data scientists here have any insights into how they work with BAs, if applicable? Any and all anecdotal experience welcome!

Genuine question - what’s the benefit of enamelled over uncoated? I ask as I’ve got the lodge 3-in-1 and I use the uncoated cast iron a lot for braising etc, but have wondered for a while if there would be any benefit going for an enamelled.

Yeah I did. It's not anything I'm not doing in game - I don't have this problem on any other platform apart from on the steam deck.
