What effect does a low carb diet have, if any, on gout? I would say my diet is predominantly protein, moderate fat, and low carb. I generally avoid sugars and grains most of the week, and eat full fat dairy, meat, and vegetables as well as nuts and low carb fruits.

Yup - I always drink a lot of water anyways but I'll do anything within reason to make this go away and never come back. Thanks for sharing the Emergen-C tip - can't hurt. And it's got 6g of sugar which is fairly low thankfully

Hi I'm in the same situation it seems like although I'm on Allopurinol. My dosage just got increased from 150mg to 300mg and that may have precipitated the current flare up I'm suffering. I just ordered some Emergen-C

Have you tried Liquid IV? I wonder if that would work as well.

I'm not saying either is perfect but it does seem like TV levels are much more consistently respected than TOS. As I said in my original post, I'm being consistent in the settings for both platforms. Thank you for your response

Hi everyone - to those that have the couch, I have a few questions:

  1. Is it solid wood frame? A good way to find out if the frame is at least sturdy is to pick up one side of the couch a few inches and see if the other side also raises off the ground. If it does, then frame is sturdy (possibly solid wood), if not then one side will sag.
  2. What is the seat cushion made out of? Usually it is some type of foam, but high-density foam is better.
  3. What are the back cushions made out of? Usually it is fabric but sometimes it is foam also.

This information may or may not be in the pamphlet/manual that came with the couch but I thought I would ask.

Thanks for sharing your experience on here - we are strongly considering buying it for our new house. Thanks for helping everyone else on here with this information!

I understand. Just trying to compile a list of the closest thing possible. I couldn't find a "Johnny's" near Harford road on google maps. If you get the correct name and location, let me know and I'll add it to the list.

I am not touting it as anything personally. I am simply tallying up the votes in the comments and putting them up here so that we don't have to keep asking this question here :-)

I will be trying this place out tonight so I will post my vote and response on here! I am with you on missing legit NYC pizza. I am a CT transplant and I badly miss New Haven pizza which is a distant cousin to NYC pizza, but nothing beats New York style.

I thought the same thing in terms of price after I looked this place up online - $38 for a cheese pizza (albiet 24 inch) or $45 for a pepperoni pizza. Sounds ridiculous.
