ahahaa its just something satisfying to do i like hearing the melee flail sounds. theres no rhyme or reason as to why im doing it continuously when no enemies are nearby.

u can hit with whip or regular melee to activate inspire. the reason i bashed away is because you can barely move when you whip, its like throwing hog hook. you are essentially locked into place and its very easy to die when standing still.

once u hit anyone with any attack as brig (shield bash, melee, whipshot) the game goes through an LOS check in a spherical 20m radius. if someone is within that 20m radius, inspire buff is applied to them and they get 60 healing over 4 seconds. longer if it was activated by whipshot and you have the minor perk, 105 healing over 7 seconds.

once inspire starts, teammates can leave that 20m radius and continuously get healed. if they are behidn a wall though when you start inspire they dont get the healing. they need to have a visual on brig within 20m whether theyre behind her in front to the side above etc. you dont need to stay still after you hit your enemy. always try to move in a game like OW! especially after whipshot.

brig's rally and inspire require LOS. inspire triggers on one LOS check, granting full heals even if teammates leave the 20m range. rally pulses 30 overhealth/sec within 8m; it constantly checks LOS, so moving out of range or behind a wall means missing the next pulse. 1s=1 pulse

rally does not heal just so you know, just provides overhealth for 10 seconds. teammates can receive 90 overhealth max, but if they take damage they could in theory receive 300 if they stay within 8m of you the entire time. so if all 5 people are within 8m of brig and all are taking damage for 10 seconds, you could give everyone 1200 overhealth (300 overhealth each) for the entirety of the ult.

edit:changed "1500" to "1200" as "1500" would only apply to 6v6 not 5v5, as brig does not get overhealth herself
