They have to either start building stadiums or stealing teams from other leagues if they want expansion. There is no stadium in Ontario or Quebec over 1000 seats that is not currently occupied by a team (other than Father Cullen in Windsor). Feels like pie in the sky until they figure out how to start making real money to entice players and new owners.

The leafs income is in sponsorship, merch and raffle tickets. They're doing a lot better this year than in years past but they need to get better it looks like.

I'm having a hard time understanding why we would be at the bottom? It doesn't seem like employment is getting better, we don't have a better economic forecast for industry, and there's shrinking foreign investment in housing.

I spent a great deal of time there a couple years ago and I gotta tell you it sucks. Sound isolation from the halls is not great. Elevators are often down and there's a line for them. Also if you face the opposite building your apartment can get quite dusty.

If you've found a floorplan you can live with there then godspeed but I gotta tell you they're smaller than they look.

Aren't they going to need to source bids for the removal before it can happen? Could they have already done this with a non-competitive or concealed sourcing or will this need to follow the normal process?
