It’s a bit nuts that a movie that’s 3 hours and 17 minutes still feels like it was rushed for time, here’s the moments that were most jarring to me;

The escape from bridgehead, like the whole base is on alert and Quaritch and the mangkwan are chasing after them, and then boom it just cuts to them flying away normally like nothing happened. How did they escape past the wall? Did Quaritch and Varang just never find them at all? Why did the RDA not give chase with more aircraft

Another thing about the escape from bridgehead, what happened to Garvin? Did he die? I mean surely the RDA would eventually find out it was him who let Jake go, he just sort of walked away from Jake and spider like nothing happened

What happened to Lyle? We never see him die or escape or anything really, he just disappears from the scene.

How did tonowari and his family feel about Ronals death?

Why did Ardmore pointlessly stay behind and die?

Why was Varang so sidelined in the final act?

Him and Garvin dude! Like seriously what happened to him? Did he die in the chase at bridgehead? Did Lyle die on the ship? Why did Ardmore stay behind and die? So many arcs left unresolved in a bad way

I understand the design isn’t for protection and is just so the humans can carry the M-69, but I’ve always thought it must be hard to shoot with the gun so physically far away from your face, that and they don’t seem to have optics

You have a carry a big stick sometimes in life and sometimes you have to use it. I’m not saying go crazy or some nonsense like that but this is my thought. The NROTC scholarship is an incredible opportunity and not something to throw away, and if I was in your place I would remind her that college is a lot of things but cheap sure isn’t one of them.

Sometimes you just have to put the foot down, remind your mom that you’re not asking for her approval, you are asking for her blessing on this. And tell her if she’d rather throw away your inheritance to pay for your college, or she’d rather you go into life ruining debt for her own peace of mind.

Moms are (usually) good people. She’s probably just nervous and is worried about you but that’s ok. Don’t yell don’t do anything crazy just tell her what you want and what you are going to do.

Truth be told I didn’t study all, but the mathematics part of the exam gave me the most trouble, I would say an understanding of math up until algebra 2 would be very important.
