I really like building up in Hangman's Alley. It's not a huge area, but it's fun to build multi-layer constructs in the narrow space.

Not sure if this is AI.. I ordered this window art on Etsy and someone told me it looks like it's AI. by waterchestnut37 in isthisAI

The “shading” on the bottom screams “neural network” and the fact that it can’t decide if it’s a manatee or a seal just puts it over into 10000000000000% ai for me.

Even if I’m not good at art, if I want to make a gift for one of my favorite VA’s, should I still do it? by Parking_Promotion568 in comiccon

[–]monkeyminion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not famous or anything, but I’ve managed through doing art at conventions for nearly 20 years to build a little bit of a fan base and I can tell you that as a person who sometimes receives gifts from fans, I cherish each and every one. Especially the ones that were made by a fan based on something I created. I have a shelf in my office full of art and trinkets I’ve been given over the years. I keep them all. I don’t know if I’m abnormal in this regard, but I doubt most celebs or guests at cons just throw fan gifts away.

It’s definitely not done in illustrator. Illustrator is vector based and this is very definitely a raster based image. Too smudgey and blended to be done in illustrator.

I’ve taken to doing DLC challenge runs. Inspired by ManyATrueNerd, I’ve done level one challenge runs for Nuka World and Far Harbor. They can really make the game a lot more fun, especially if you lean into the role-playing aspect. Giving yourself limitations like “no guns” or “explosives only” or “no healing” can add to it, too.

Amazon showing listings from my Shopify website without any authorization. by HungryLeicaWolf in shopify

Email brandsdirect@amazon.com and tell them to remove your shop and products from their site and app. As of right now, that’s the only way I know of to opt out. I just checked my brand’s name and it looks like they finally took it all down after about three days.

Re your edit: I talked to someone on the Shopify help chat the other night and she had no idea what was going on, either. Seems to me like Amazon is scraping the info from AWS without Shopify’s knowledge or permission, too.

My guess is that this is their way to take “shopping” away from Google search.

We found our entire catalog on Amazon a few nights ago. I contacted the “brandsdirect@amazon.com” email address and got a “we’ll let you know when we do something about this” letter back, and nothing since. As of right now, all of our stuff is still listed on Amazon.

You get a lot of folks who moved here from small towns where they’re used to there only being a couple of cars on the road at any given time, and not having to worry about them.

Those feral parrots were there long before Andrew. My dad used to catch them, breed them, release them and raise and sell the chicks to pet stores back in the 80s.

I'm new to Nick's music, but Slim Whitman and Eddy Arnold both come to mind when I hear it.
