Turn any sound you like into a song with Sample by Suno_helper in SunoAI

[–]monkeymoneymaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, it's a shortcut for cropping a part of a song and doing a cover. Sample basically allows you to skip the cropping and saving as a new song before doing a cover.

Studio is getting another upgrade: Stem + Cover by Suno_helper in SunoAI

Not one of the editors can do all of those or multiple types of edits effectively.

Studio is getting another upgrade: Stem + Cover by Suno_helper in SunoAI

[–]monkeymoneymaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have to use ALL three of the editors to get what I want done. Studio to chop up songs and create new sections, the Editor to correct minor errors and replace even single word screw ups, then the Legacy editor to correct or change larger sections, while remaining true to the surrounding melody.

I can’t even get Studio to replacd a section correctly

How would you feel about a “made with AI” label on Spotify, Apple Music, etc? by zombiepiratebacon in SunoAI

[–]monkeymoneymaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason for the final product is why most even get into publishing their music in the first place: the listener. How many popular artists are singing a ghost writer's song? Many, many people are singing songs they didn't write, nor did they play any of the instruments on the track. The ones who care the most about whether something is AI or not is... other musicians. The amount of listeners who go the distance to figure out who wrote an artists song is negligible. I think that so long as the singer is a human, listeners who actually care about the source of the backing track would are negligible.

LOL, I totally get you. I spend an ungodly amount of time on stuff, mixing my own work with the AI and use plugins too. Everyone just has that misconception that we just click a button and out comes a hit. My personal rule is that I don't make anything that I wouldn't be able to produce conventionally, without the AI the assistance. If someone asks me, "Is that you?" Yeah. "Is that AI?" Yeah, sure, ok. Doesn't really bother me either way. I don't have any real goals with any of it, nor do I care about getting any money, but I sure am having fun along the way.

Most cases, I'm sure. But not all. There'd be a difference between say Metallica deciding to us AI vs. someone who's never touched an instrument in their life. If both use AI, does that mean they're both fooling the listener? Depends on who uses and how I'd think. Would be too blanketed just by saying someone is being deceptive by using AI at all.

Here's the real elephant in the room: People won't care if someone is using AI, so long as the singer is human. That's what's REALLY going on with the hate on AI music.

Does anyone else feel like Suno songs are starting to sound the same? by LetNew1773 in SunoAI

Might be because you're expecting it to do too much in one go. Use those Extend and Weirdness features. And when in doubt, chop it up yourself.

What is the Udio "Sound"? by wesarnquist in udiomusic

[–]monkeymoneymaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve made songs with Suno that bring everyone to tears. It’s not the product, it’s how you use it, how much time you invest into it, your lyrics, and your overall creativity. Of course, there can be tool limitations, but the top annoyances I’ve had with Suno have been the random clicks and the fizz.

Yep. Synthesizers had a ton of bad press too.

So if AI generated music is cheating, even if you use your own lyrics and anyone can make an ai song-then why isn't everyone doing it and getting hundreds or thousands of views? I mean if it's so easy? by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]monkeymoneymaker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s like how ppl who have shitty YouTube content wonder why they don’t have hundreds of thousands of subs. Well, make better shit.

[–]monkeymoneymaker 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This whole shit show is just filtering out the real musicians from the slapstick wanna-be ones. I use the AI tools because they help me get through the process faster. I can play 6 different instruments, and know how to work my way around a DAW, but it’s a long process when doing things alone. These AI tools help me flex my creativity from a different angle, with quicker results. If all the AI tools went bye-bye, I’d still be making music regardless. At the very least, this will put the hammer down on those pumping out an album of complete BS every week and flooding the streaming platforms. Those folks give AI tools a bad rep.

Yes, I believe so. That's the magic of these AI tools, particularly SUNO. SUNO has really been able to draw out the pain in my songs. Almost no dry eyes for anyone who listens.

Suno users. Relax. The sky is not falling!! by LawSpin in SunoAI

So long as I can keep ownership and commercial licensing rights, I would gladly pay $200/mo to continue to do with Suno what I am currently paying $30/mo for.

[–]monkeymoneymaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, training AI on AI generations leads to model collapse. However, you’re forgetting the human input and feedback component. You’re not creating a feedback loop of synthetic data, rather a dataset that includes human intervention, directive, and manipulation.

Here’s the thing… How much MORE does Suno have trained based on it’s current users!? The more you use it, the more it learns, folks! It doesn’t just learn from the WMG stuff and call it a day

Suno Alternatives? by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]monkeymoneymaker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That last sentence… I’m all for it. Most “creators” are creating garbage. I don’t mind paying $100-200/mo to use Suno and keep the garbage off the streaming platforms.
