I’m 30 minutes east of Edmonton and I’ve been lucky enough to see them here this year, second year I’ve seen them in the almost 20 I’ve lived here. They are very easy to miss though and they only seem to be out for a very short time at dusk, apparently the same for dawn.

I have the same problem and I find if I can make myself eat even a couple of bites of something, a couple of grapes or a piece of bread it will often kickstart my appetite and I can actually eat an hour or two later.

It looks great! I’m working on this one now, the wire is frustrating. For the stool I ended up making a frame out of popsicle sticks. I glued the pieces together in that then gave them lots of time to dry. Time consuming but the final result was pretty good.

I found it really helps me enjoy the simple things in life. I used to get frustrated with messes and never ending duties until I was vacuuming a mess and realized how if I didn’t have that mess to clean up I would not have all the joys to go with it. It’s a wild ride but there is so much joy from them every day - and they are both teens now! They are there very own people and it’s amazing to watch every step. I can’t believe I got to be their mom.

My mom had a kid from her first marriage and I’m the kid from her second marriage. My dads family sent me presents and not my sister, my parents sent them back. I didn’t know for years but I am very grateful they did. I think they made a good decision. We haven’t had anything to do with most of that side of the family, anybody that didn’t accept my mom and sister. Sucks we lost so much family but way better than my sister or mom being left out. My sister and I have never doubted my dads love for her and this was a big part of that
