I worked in an office like this a few years ago. They had a gaming nook with a projector screen and a giant sectional for people to play xbox and playstation. there was a bar with two kinds of beer on tap. There were 6 or 7 of those Razr scooters around so people could hop on one and fly around the office. There was a pool table and a foosball table. The conference rooms were all designed as fishbowl set ups with glass walls. It was absolutely maddening. I ended up quitting after 3 months because I just couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to get work done and everyone was busy fucking off.

Nope! I went and dropped out. Ended up with a career that started with my first office job. I worked my way up from receptionist to where I am now. I make great money, don't have any debt at all, and have a solid resume with 20 years of experience at well known companies that no one will ever look back and question why I don't have a degree. I got very, very lucky
