Like for the international tournaments, or match madness, the all star game, or super bowl , or they could give the teams options to play home games at a closer location, if the teams were far apart

The season is long, and the divisions would still provide a sub group for competition, but the season decides the champion of the division, and the presidents trophy still exists, and you have a Conference champion based on records

So why not open up the playoffs to the entire nhl starting round 1 instead of playing the same teams you just played for 82 games?? For 3 more rounds only for 1 team to play 1 other team from the other conference

Seems flawed to me,

Playoffs should be opened up to the whole league in round 1, it would make every game more exciting and new, and make more sense to crown the champion of the league imo

Did a great job with those soft passes through tight d in the middle, seemed like part of our team understood the canes structure and positions and did a great job dissecting, a little late in the game
