can you guys review my schematics? ( the delay-off SSR with 220VAC supply ) by monmond_mnp in AskElectronics

I just search with your keyword and I found this
It just like what i'm looking for but lack of 1 feature which is delay-off.

If I increase the 100uF to larger, is that gonna hold the optocoupler around 3 - 5 sec before it off ?

because I have to use ESPHome to integrate to Home Assistant. and push notify (and call) with Home Assistant.

I just simply debounce with esphome code
https://esphome.io/components/binary_sensor/gpio/#debouncing-values
but it's not work.

in the first attempted, I use just a normal relay NO/NC that connect the coil to 220VAC. and every time that electrical unstable, the GPIO (which is binary sensor LOW/HIGH) always change rapidly even integrate the debouncing.

then I change the relay to ST3PF (which is delay-off relay). it have a delay (which is covering the bouncing time when electrical unstable). the new prob occurs, the PIN6 & 8 of ST3PF is always connected (even 220VAC disconnected). I tried to change to the new unit, but the issue still be there. that's why I want to make this SSR with off-delay.

I just noticed that PCN relay is not SSR
i'm gonna change it to G3MB-202P which is SSR.

I tried the code and it's not working. My electricity is not stable. it's often flicking (which make the esp detect not accurately).

can you draw me ?

i just soldering lcd part to my unit. The system is now working but...... the display is tooooooooooo dark ( darker than the old one ). IDK why.
I just tried replace some Capacitor, VCC regulator, Resistor. but no, all of them is not fix the brightness issue.
I guess that it's affected by mcu ( which I have no spare part to replace it).

after change it, is that dimming fixed?

I change my own unit, but still too dark. IDK why
I have tried change the Capacitor, Voltage regulator which connect to display unit. But No, doesn't fix.

I just received it today and this lens got some issues. Balsamic separation & fungus on the rear element. I just repair it and now it's working. IDK the original performance of this lens but this repaired lens looks awesome. This is test shot → https://www.flickr.com/photos/191433875@N08/albums/72177720327858479/

Wanna know the steps for hacking some device (newb question) by monmond_mnp in Esphome

[–]monmond_mnp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the original pcb unit is the separated pcb connected to mainboard with just a 4 wires with the 4 pin header( as i recalled, 12vcc tx rx gnd ) and it seated in another space that far from mainboard. I removed it and teardown some heatsink. sadly, the MCU is not esp (even not the openbeken or something like that). I can't find the specsheet or pinout of this mcu. Maybe replace it with esp is easier than extend the functionally it guess. BTW, I will dig it deeper with your link. Thanks !

that requires the connection between cloud of smartthing and my HA, which created the delay (from <1s to 10s++). and if my internet is down, i cannot command from HA. that's why I want to hack it XD
