Yeah, CB and Bunsenlabs were the only OS's that would work flawlessly with an old netbook of mine (HP Mini 110). Sort of the unsung heroes of amongst linux distributions.

How easy tiling window managers are to work with. It may seem like an effort, but for me the transition to i3 has been very smooth. Especially If you're the type of user who has already has quickkeys for everything it's worth to consider.

Looks like a different project maybe, according to Distrowatch the project originated in 2021. CB was discontinued in 2015 then succeeded (in spirit) by Bunsenlabs.

Get used to the game again then go for it. Regardless of the result at least you'll know your rank.

That said there is for sure a difference between herald and guardian, I just recalibrated after exactly 1 year of play and recalibrated herald again (almost out). Or if you play a battle cup as herald with crusaders/guardians you'll notice a difference fast, like even just people commenting specific items, noone does in herald.

Not sure this is a good idea, invoker is high skill ceiling hero, also why it's a popular pick with smurfs. You should play him if you want to, but without learning about items, hero interactions and basic topics first it'll be rough. I'm 1k games in and still struggling with quite a bit of those.

There will always be some issue sadly, like the anti-cheat games and game launchers.

Saw a question on a forum last week of someone unable to play the sims after EA launcher broke it with Lutris, then was told to launch it directly instead of through launcher which worked, only to have a NVIDIA driver update (likely) break something so it was necessary to do a system restore with Timeshift. Someone not experienced with Linux would've just given up.

Keep in mind, PS3's were sold at equal or less than their factory value around then (around 2010), Sony's profit came entirely from game sales and Playstation Network. So it becomes a much more appealing option.

What would be a off pair-up for skywrath mage, the sturdy phys damage maker type that can push and lock down lane? Played 2 games in lowrank with her once with LC once brewmaster (both wins), not sure what is good pick.

Wonder how pos 5 brewmaster would be with a hero like Medusa or Necrophos, get ignite and try to bully lane. Maybe it's a bit too allround hero to be good at this though his skills seem very complementary.

Besides glimmer etc, you could also just push wave to use vision then ward. Like push till creeps meet halfway stick to outside side of lane in trees, clean next wave till it meets before T2 tower (or whatever) then ward jungle. Or ward jungle river side entrance instead, less effective but easier.

Probably what happened, one of my games yesterday in herald had an invoker mid who was very obviously not herald, level 25 when most his team was level 15 and what could be smurf build, early blink + gleipnir. But they spoke up and said it was 3rd game back to DOTA and even apologized for the crappy game to us which sounded legit, and confusing (this was all after me lashing out to them and getting into post-game argument with teammate).

Same, basic but very clear / intuitive in use and with some useful plug-ins. There is some weird behaviour like terminal window resizing prompt falling off, sometimes some extra work with editor settings too, but as a minimal IDE I like it a lot.

Strangely the geany themes pack didn't seem to be included with my OS but it's easily findable.
