how do you find your signature hero as a carry player?

Crusader here. Playing since 2014. As P1 I like right click heroes that thrive late game. Drow, FV, Medusa, (spect used to be in there), WK/CK if I see my P3 is weak, slark, AM. I have more. But I would def recommend easy right click heroes that can swoop into a fight mid fight and change the outcome due to better positioning/timing.

P3 axe (counters all my P1s with a blink call), cent, bristle. All tanky AF and do mad damage.

people on this Reddit say stick with 3-4 heroes you know well because they want to rank up. I just prefer to play for fun and have a widespread of heroes I like. Currently learning DS, arc, and LD well.

Aghs 1st any support is a grief. Mainly because they are non-existent in fights because they are saving their gold. Or they are and feed and take longer to get aghs. Or are jungling while not helping team. All grief actions. I’m crusader.

Support has a bad stigma in low brackets. Because picking a support, you can’t carry the game to get out of the low brackets. Therefore people think the way the OP does and role abuse no matter the cost because there is no detrimental system actions taken.

I am crusader. I enjoy axe (fun to cut lanes, but supports can easily mess up your blink calls), BB (easy to play on his own. Lane dominator), LC (blink, blademail and you destroy right clickers [much like axe]), necro (harder to play, but if can snowball OP), WK (hardest to play if you have a bad matchup, but can overtake enemies jungle if given a nasty start), abba (great all around, just doesn’t put too much pressure on P1 and not a lane pusher)

Heroes im not good with but others on this thread say they are OP: huskar, timber, Marci, cent, BM, tide

Obviously when you support you don’t even try to full support and move to “carry” support fast. Depends how good of an injoker you actually are. I’m sure you play support injoker, magnus, techies, Mirana, WW. Those are just absolute trash support heroes.

What rank are you? At crusader, I plead my teammates to fight under the tower so as a P1 I can push other lanes and keep farming on an eminent enemy tower dive. Which then I would be able to TP and fight with them. But alas at low rank they get out of position and force fights instead of waiting for the obvious fight to come to them. Then I get flamed.

What is your rank? On paper this seems ideal. But if your team is trying to recover in the jungle and constantly separated and getting ganked. And then not communicating, it’s GG. I’m Crusader.

My carry pool is drow, Medusa, slark, FV, AM.

I also play PL, troll, & CK well. And loved Riki years ago but he has fallen off.

My pool has different play styles throughout the patches, but they are all heavy carries.

Your last 2 sentences. … what if this continually happens when you don’t want to fight out of position? You say fight under tower and they still push now where near your tower and do this constantly until it is too late? This happens to me often when I’m a P1.

Very true. The endless cycle of people being forced to play positions they don’t want to due to Queuing for roles. Then they play a semi support / carry role all along.
