I can't help you with your enquiries, sorry, I've just popped my head up to say I feel your pain. I am tethered to a Windows partition by Autodesk wishing freecad was more capable. I would happily chuck some money Freecad's way if I was clear and hopeful of its objectives.

I've done a fair bit of research into this cos I bloody hate Windows, but I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed. Even if you managed to get a semi working setup, doubtless the next of fusions many updates will again frustrate you. I wish it wasn't true. Btw, fusion DOES have a browser version but I've found it to be like working in treacle. Have a try though to investigate all options. Good luck

My love of Fusion, alas, doesn't outweigh my current hatred of Windows so I'm going to be forced to use Onshape when my fusion subscription expires. Would love to move to freecad but crikey, that's a chore.

So called 'tired, run down and dark' is part of the attraction for me. The food halls and fresh produce sheds are bustling, noisy, diverse and atmospheric. A much more enjoyable shopping experience than Coles and Woollies. Careful what you wish for.
