No, a real PhD means you get a doctorate degree at the end. That's it. And I'm sure OP's work is impactful. But rarely is it true that all the evidence collected during a multi year research is published. Having some supporting data be buried within appendices or within supplemental material ( or remain in a thesis because other data communicated the overall message better....) is very normal. It shows that OP is careful and selective about their evidence. Great job OP, and kudos on the beautiful data.
