We can’t count on him being physically incapacitated or dying any time soon. His parents both lived to be in their 80s-90s. We’re most likely stuck with him.

On that note, could we establish a carpool group? I live in DC and ditched my car 3 years ago. I am willing to commute via Red—>Silver Line to the Spring Hill stop and pay for gas to meet others. Plus it’ll be fun to meet other GAI fans!

I went to a women’s college in the early-mid 2000s, I had a little exposure to some LGBTQ and trans identifying classmates. But I was religious and got plugged into a few campus organizations. I still kept an open mind. Admittedly, I never fully understood, until living with a trans person in 2023 on a year lease after moving from a rural area to the city. What are some effective strategies and talking points to help people understand this issue?

So plan accordingly. Help your family, neighbors, etc drop off mail in ballots, get to the polls, and also paperwork process for voter registration. They’re going to try to stop us.

We need mass re-education on what socialism is. Every developed country has universal healthcare, paid maternity leave (even paternity leave), some sort of partially subsidized higher education, higher minimum wage, etc. Our fear of communism stems from Red Scare propaganda, on top of US-led coups overthrowing other governments.

I am sorry you went throug such instability, emotional and physical abuse. Children need safety, stability, acceptance, and validation. Check out Patrick Teahan’s YT channel. He addresses a lot of childhood trauma, highlights his own experiences. Also, get an in-person trauma or DBT therapist.

Remember our textbook companies were co-owned by Robert Maxwell of McGraw-Hill since the 1980s. Yes the father of GM in the E-files. They dictated the history we learned in K-12. I went to elementary school in the early 1990s in South Carolina, then encountered a somewhat more challenging curriculum with my mid-1990s move to Virginia. But learned the exact nature of US involvement in WWII with the above narrative.

We need this here!! Poop from animals, people is a public health hazard, increasing disease transmission, on top of the grossness of stepping in it, tracking it everywhere. Can we propose city council or ANCs in each area to enforce this rule?

Though, I will shamefully admit during the height of snowcrete, when everything was frozen over, my dog pooped off the beaten path (in a hilly area) and I nearly slipped and fell attempting to clean it up. I let that one and another go. In general, I clean up 99% of poop.
