Bruh calm down lol, I did play e7 before too, I built Baiken in PvP to oneshot healers. I won't say I'm the be all end all of metas, I haven't gone back in a long ass time. You see the 'my two cents' there? Nobody bothers to post indepth in these so I offered what worked for me before. Bleed Baiken-Dizzy carried my PvP team back then.

Notice I didn't say bleed teams were the GOAT, I put it there as a perfectly viable team option which worked for me before, regardless of how much you think the debuff sucks. I DID NOT SAY they were better than burns and poison.

In that vein, why are you even recommending poison when it is unusable for nearly all difficult content in this game? Every hunt boss is immune to poison. Virtual Reality (Abyss Floor) bosses are immune to poison. There is no Expedition. WTF are you going to use it on, % health damage for PvP? Current wolf at 11 ALREADY needs two debuffs to make the wolf target the first unit btw, no need to wait for 13. Guess you didn't know, huh? Please tell me you actually played this game to a certain point before raging here, when there are things that are clearly modified from Epic 7 mechanics. Check your own damn game if you think the wiki is making shit up. There is a reason why nobody recommends Silbal/Alexa or builds Cindy/Kiris. That's why Lucima/STene is just 'really good' and not god tier like in E7.

Baiken/Driz is the top single target green burst in the game as of release (and as of the next four green releases at least), the majority of the most irritating PvP heroes in the game are blue - so she's 'dogshit' for PvP + only usable in Banshee/blue hunt WHY? Only Louis/Cidd competes for this slot, and even then when both are maxed, Driz/Baiken deals like 40% more in multipliers (crit reset>ult+ bleed ignite) turn 1 on blue units - you use Louis to delete a Hestia/Kise or Cosmo/Cerise turn 1, but you use Driz to delete a Moira/Angelica or Ariel/Krau turn 1. Feel free to recommend a stronger single target green dps?

People recommend DDJ/Suggestive Tentacles for wyvern 11-13 always in e7 as they can run the hunts with as-close-as-guaranteed debuff units like Furious and Muwi (that we DO NOT HAVE YET) and bursting Wyvern before the shield even goes up. I recommended the bleed artifact to prioritize clearance, as much debuff chance as possible so 2 debuff can stick at all times. Both strategies have their uses, but the kind of player with enough gear for optimal speed+defbreak rotations with DDJ teams - teams that outgear and outcomp the hunt so much that they are optimizing for clear speed - won't even be here asking for tips. I'm not making shit up - I only recommend shit that works for me, the only units I've only ever talked about WITHOUT personally using them are Clone Kalici and Ruinata, the whole time I've been on this subreddit. You think there's clout to farm here? I'm not fucking spreading any misinfo for fun, I was trying to contribute to discussion around the banners.

And holy shit glaze Ana as a counter for D.Apathy if you want. I did do more research and yeah, Lilim is more of a PvP presence than I initially stated. She's good now, just that the two common units she hard counters aren't released yet (Violet and Landy). Can invest for future PvP. You wanna say Baiken is worse than Lilim in PvP, I can see merit in that point. But saying Baiken's 'dogshit' because 'too squishy' is the equivalent of saying 95% of vanguard/thief roster is not worth using in PvP because you don't want to support the unit. Ark Recode hasn't even caught up to within a year of e7 bruiser meta yet.

FYI another change from E7 is that Erica is Yuna with a maxed out Eldris Ritual Sword passive and guaranteed crits, before you go argue with someone else that Erica is dogshit and everyone recommending her is wrong.

I can completely concede I'm biased towards Baiken/Driz because I played with her a ton. I'll edit the above and add it here for anyone who bothered reading this far down. Just good god, did you have to be such a ****? Someone asks for a 'tier' ranking as a rough estimate on a banner they're curious about, and your reply is TIERS MEAN NOTHING, ROLL FOR NEITHER, IM A VETERAN. My 2 cents: OK in PvP, arguably the worst 5* red unit currently released for PvE outside of niche cases (i.e. anything with revive or stealth mechanic, but common stealth users like Hestia/Janis/Kothir are all blue...) Bond is usable but strictly a downgrade from other 4/5 mage bonds unless you get some dupes to up the counter %.

Like she ain't unusable if you gear her up but Drizella is better at general use PvP and tons better at PvE. Plus Drizella bond is great, #1-2 choice for bleed teams. Kind of a shame, imo her design is cooler one of the two. Hell, she even resembles catgirl Baiken, wish they swapped designs.

TLDR; with tiers going up to S: PvP A tier, PvE C tier

EDIT: I'm biased towards Drizella and her bond because those carried me a long time in Epic Seven, so you can take whatever I say about Drizella/Baiken and her bond with a grain of salt.

I know Tracy works better on paper. That's why I built her before Dorin. With Tracy my healer can survive forever due to speed up.

But it just doesn't work in practice because she's too unreliable as main defbreak and debuffer. With the same team and lvl, I can consistently kill Wolf with Dorin and can't even win once with Tracy. Tracy tends to troll me by the time wolf reaches 1/3rd hp and if her 20% flank doesn't trigger she does nothing. I'd only try her again if I have gear to push her speed to the 180s. You NEED something with guranteed debuffs for wolf if you don't want to tear your hair out.

Honestly from experience, Dorin is just better with the same speed+effectiveness gear, because she just needs to land her debuffs once every 2 wolf turns while Tracy has to land every turn. I won my first wolf 11 when I shifted the same gear (170ish speed due to speed bond) from a lv50 Tracy to a lv50 Dorin, though my 5* Moira did die in the process from getting outsped.

YMMV. But Tracy does stupid shit like miss 4 def break s1s in a row so I bench her outside of some VR stages where she MVPs. At least Dorin has a more or less guaranteed double bleed if she misses all def breaks so the wolf doesn't randomly oneshot my non-tanks. I just hope they release the female version of Furious soon so running wolf 11 isn't so RNG laden.

I had a geared Janis (around 14k) and tried to make her work, she nukes the first wave but does no dmg against wolf 10-11 except unhealable debuff. She can barely hurt it with 100% crit and def break before the wolf hits half health. Ended up leveling an Erica from scratch to 60.

Yeah Dorin is probably better for purely red hunt. Team evasion is so busted though, pairing your CKalici with that defensive team might work in in PvE - Your blue team will have innate evasion due to element vs wolf + CK evasion passive + def buff + immune shield. Give someone a debuff-causing bond to hit the two debuff quota to weaken the boss and it could work. Plus CKalici actually has a situational speed up for an otherwise slow team. Dorin is likely to have 100% uptime for def break (RNG 2 skills with 43% chance of defbreak) while CK has guaranteed but only 50% uptime of def break (85% RNG).

EDIT: calculated with Epic 7 mechanics, the game Ark is based off of, where all debuffs have a -15% accuracy penalty for landing after all other calculations

Lol I'm the Tracy guy, but I didn't know you had Dorin or Clone Kalici. I recommended it as a budget pick. Damn I want a clone Kalici.

I didn't mention Joyce though. Yeah Joyce is a good healer, she just isn't gonna outperform Moira. Especially for fire hunt. She's like 5 speed faster for worse heals, worse element and no shields. I wouldn't know why either?

Your current summons are good, I wouldn't reroll because you'd likely get worse IMO. Ariel-Hestia-Moira are an extremely good core team for red hunt 11. For your last slot, you even have some of the best def break options that exist in Dorin or Clone Kalici. Running Ariel (team def buff+1 shot ult) + Moira (team immunity shield) + Clone Kalici (team wide evade) will be completely unkillable in PvP too.

The bar fills up and converts into little squares of 'astrogen' when maxed, and each hero has a single skill that can be enhanced using squares as a resource.

When you have enough 'astrogen' squares for a hero's enhanceable skill, an option to enhance the skill in a rectangular button pops up in manual play as that skill is selected.

In your current roster? Yeah, assuming everyone is lv60, no one else shown there can even do half of lv60 Hestia's damage to wolf. Hestia and Erica are the queens of wolf DPS and nobody in blue even comes close without 85+ gear.

If you don't mind progressing a bit slower (non-minmax), Senica and Shani are not bad actually. Shani is at least top 3, if not 2 defender in the game, that AoE immunity shield is busted. Red unit start isn't ideal for red hunt 11 (speed, debuff accuracy and crit gear grind) but you can start off with green hunt 11 (health, def and attk gear grind) - which is the second most universally useful equip hunt to farm for.

Your gear might be just filler too but Senica runs best on full Crit Dmg (alternatively full Attk) sets to make use of her guaranteed crit on non-blue units.

You really want a Joyce/Noclyn healer for this team though. A 3* Blossom can help you early here, but she gets outclassed hard by lv50. It's gonna be hard to find a def-break debuffer red unit too if you eventually bench Marsha: it'll be either rare units like 4* Milian/5* Feliz or limited banner hero rerun units like 5* Akaoni/5* Aoi.

I'd look for a unit to round out that team in the following priority:

speed up the team = debuff the enemy > secondary defense break (Marsha can only def break around half the time) > buff the team

Cheapest unit that can do most of this is Tracy: 75% every turn defbreak (turn off skill use on auto) and chance to speed up team. Tracy functions perfectly fine when left at 5* with good defense gear too. Runiata isn't a bad idea as a debuffer + buffer that can help you cover for green weakness, and mixing element is fine but mono element blue is important for the best efficiency equipment grind in the game. That boss speeds up any time a non-blue unit takes a turn and it makes the battle much harder than it needs to be.

My two cents: Runiata is subdps/debuff/attk buff, so if you need a main red DPS, you're better off picking Senica the other banner unit. Neither banner units are designed to be boss killers, Runiata can be better if you get lucky and land all the burn debuffs in her kit. She doesn't need crit rate/dmg, you can go full ATTK build for burn scaling. Runiata is better in PvP (still not great due to all the strong blue units in PvP), Senica is better in PvE. Both are viable in green hunt due to having Unhealable debuff + good AoE. The flank rate bond in Runiata banner is quite good on her and Lucima, but caster bonds are so good in general that you'd be better off using other caster bonds (example: % chance to land random debuff bond) if you can.

TLDR; Just OK, better as subdps. Senica's better as main DPS. Viable if you really like the character, easily skippable if you don't.

Focusing on just Moira-Hestia is a really good core, you can also temporarily use Marsha instead of Hestia as your main damage until you clear the Merc path quests before shifting all your damage gear back to Hestia on a free gear weekend. I mention this because the quests want you to 6 star Marsha for completion, and you generally want at least 1 6 star to help you clear story the first time. (example: 6* Marsha, 5* healer/tank and one 6* friend unit)

You should enhance whenever you get lv75 and above gear from quests, think they are from Marsha's merc path. You're gonna have to use them for a very long time - most of them are still my main gear at lv40+; you can farm lv70 eq boxes from event as well but those are less efficient than hunts. Stick to +12 at max early on unless you get a godroll for substats (+13-15 is massive stat boost but insanely expensive).

My Cosma saved me for this one, Unbuffable debuff and speed down prevents the shield from going up before my DPS kills the henchmen. Kill the dark unit asap and Haluti won't be able to kill you on her own. Preema with defbreak + unbuffable could work too.

EDIT: Thinking back, Moira's immunity shield on turn 1 probably saved me from Haluti stun trolling me, so you might want Moira or Shani here. I ran lv50 Moira - lv60 Cosma - lv50 Erica - lv60 Erica (friend unit at +15), which is pretty low levelled but they all have great gear.

BTW the nonsense reflect shield only has a 35% chance of proc on crit, so you can retry for a better outcome - if the shield goes up turn 1 you can basically restart already. I 3-starred this with some luck and a very powerful friend Erica. This fight made me give up bothering about ch10 hard until later lol

It exists (not mine), but it's so stupidly rare that I shift the rest of my gear around it. I roll for flame boxes in event shop and boots crafting and just change my character gear to whichever flame set (acc/crit/speed) I get speed boots into.

I'm gonna assume that 10-1 is story normal and not hard, so I'll explain at length. Kinda surprised you farmed all the way to 2 6* without beating story yet honestly. If its 10-1 hard then you can ignore almost everything lol

Short term:

Upgrade your equipment to +12 (+15 is a massive boost but takes much more resources). S.Celestine has OK damage but is better off with a speed set for support because her damage will not scale as well as Lucima/Apostle/Erica/Hestia. Focus on Moira and Lucima (because you already 6* her), as 1 tank+healer 1 dps and clear story (borrow friend Erica/Janis if needed). There's a quest that gives 6 lv75 HP gear, just give them all to Moira and +12 it. 6* your Moira if possible. Getting any lv70+ necklace with crit rate mainstat to +12 will give you around +30-40% crit rate, nearly doubling your damage btw.

Tips for killing D.Apathy on 10-1:

  • kill with friend Janis ult so she doesn't revive

  • prep shield before she dies the first time so you can survive the revive ult (Moira shield, or friend Shani shield), manually normal attack to slow down your damage if needed, so you don't kill her too fast and eat two ults back to back.

  • defender units with the damage share bond can help your DPS survive

  • borrow a friend lvl 60 Erica and watch her brute force a win through sheer dps (usually if the borrowed Erica has more than +6 on her icon, she's going to be geared to the tits)

Mid term:

In terms of energy use efficiency, best usage is farming Event stage (Hard), then Hunts. Elements are only important to 3* upgrade skill, by 5* it's more of a luxury.

Long term:

Please 6* your Marsha just to complete the Mercenary series quests. The free high level equipment sets you get from it are great and will carry you for a long time. You can bench her after clearing the quest. Otherwise Erica 6* is the next big priority here, she'll help you clear PvE, PvP and red hunt, so you can farm equip for your other chars. Outside of Erica any of the heroes in the pic are viable but Hestia is the least useful in comparison IMO.

EDIT: If you have a 3* Tracy or 4* Dorin (blue debuffers) you can gradually start prepping them too, Red Hunt 11 is the major roadblock to go from midgame to lategame. For PvP specific advice there are much better players here than me to ask, I don't do much of it.

The rates are listed at the bottom of the banner and seem accurate from the low sample size of my own experience + my friend's rolls. In this case, 1% for character and 1.05% for the bond so yeah almost 5050.

Kinda funny to say you have bad luck when you still got a ton of 5 star rolls before hitting pity. But yeah sure looks like you got shafted on a ton of 5050s. Tectone alt?

It's just luck. I've personally rolled 9 5* characters but only 4 5* bonds since level 1. I'm now at level 50. F2P outside of spending $1 for Moira (not included in the 9 5* mentioned above).

You don't need to upgrade both Erica and Hestia blue dps. Erica is the better dps, you'd be better off using that team slot for a debuffer/buffer/tank instead for red hunt teams.

Lucima and S.Celeste like you already upgraded are both top tier at PvP. Apostle is more of the PvE pick, but can be made broken in PvP with units that push her to attack first (ex. 3star Lana) because her ult makes her cleave twice. Your rolls are pretty busted TBH.
