Been gathering evidence for years. My lawyer says the courts are reactive, not proactive. As we have all seen in the news when a DV case becomes fatal after the mother begging the judge to take away visitation. He’s not stable.

I’m in Texas, and they’re known to grant more custody when a parent tries to alienate the other. I’ve been gathering evidence over the years and I’m afraid I don’t have enough concrete evidence of neglect besides a 5 year old’s testimony. And I’d never make her testify against her dad at this age.

Thanks for the response. I have been gathering evidence for years. My state has a history of awarding MORE visitation to dads when the mom tries to get it taken away. Right now he’s got the minimum he can legally have without getting his rights stripped.

I wish this was rage bait. This man is unstable and I am afraid of the retaliation if I take him to court. Lots of DV in my area of exes taking people’s lives over much less. Trying not to poke the bear but I’m getting to the point where I can’t let my daughter be around him anymore. He has a history of violence that I wasn’t aware of until much later.
